It was a treat to stay at this classic hotel. I loved it.

Check in courteous and efficient. Nice lobby. Hotel clean. In room, toilet made a water dripping noise all night, and when the heater came on, the fan was very loud, kept waking us up. Breakfast restaurant understaffed, good food.

This was my first return trip after many years and everything was exceptional. Ample free parking and EV charging is a plus in a crowded downtown area.

Very historical hotel, a bit spooky on hallway and many strange/noisy sounds in the room. The floor was bumpy. I forgot a power charger in the hotel, but the hotel refused to help me got it back in the same day and just said it’s not found. No matter how I will never come back again.

Every member of the staff was helpful, especially enjoyed the breakfast crew and the food. Highly recommend staying here. Only drawback was lack of blackput curtains in our room.

Wonderful stay at Hotel Northampton! It's right in the middle of everything and all the staff are very friendly. There's also a cute cafe with a great breakfast on the main floor. Would definitely recommend!

We loved this hotel. Big room, very comfortable beds, spacious bath. Top floor, corner room so very quiet. Staff noted this room for next visit. On site restaurant was very good for dinner. Easy parking. Had a great conversation with the General Manager about the history of the hotel. Definitely recommend highly.

The staff were very helpful and kind from the moment I arrived until I left. The room was clean and pleasantly appointed with everything one needs when staying at a hotel. I’d return in a heartbeat.

We really enjoy staying at the Hotel Northampton. This is our second visit and it has such great old time vibe. It is vintage early to mid 20th century just like downtown Northampton and it’s not a polished 21st century remake.

A bit run down, thin walls, and loud air conditioning. Staff was great, though. Very friendly and helpful.

All was fine. Staff friendly. Would return! But 2 things to address:
They may want to replace bathroom fan ( very loud and doesn’t keep mirror clear).. And
sink also not draining well.
We were fine for the 2 nights, but thought they’d like to know!

Only issue was the mattress was really soft and sinks in , pillows too and the A/C was really loud.

Service was fantastic. It is an old historic hotel that is .2 miles from my daughter. The rooms are nice although quite small by modern standards. Beautiful place.

Don' t stay here if you can't deal with stairs. Lacked an entry elevator Did not see any ramps. Beware of the slick bathroom floors- also low-rise toilets! I nearly took a header. after slipping on the marble tile. Not enough grab bars in the tub.
Pleasant staff and beautiful building.
The restaurant was not open.
After years of fantasizing about staying at this inn I was sorry that I picked it as the spot to celebrate my 70th birthday.

This was the absolutely perfect hotel for our college visits. Walkable to Smith and easy access to the other schools in the Five Colleges. There were so many cute shops, coffee shops with awesome coffee and bagels and restaurants to explore. Even with all that going on, the room was nice and quiet. The staff was so pleasant. Everything was just perfect!

Cottage 151 was such a wonderful surprise . Had our 50th
nursing reunion nearby ( Cooley Dickinson Hospital school of nursing ).
Our room was conducive for gathering and relaxing.

I've stayed at HOTEL NORTHAMPTON many times over the years and have always been happy with the choice. Having the very good and casual restaurant downstairs is a plus and the number of really fine restaurants in walking distance from the hotel is another plus. The people working at the hotel are intelligent and genuinely friendly.

A lovely historic hotel situated in the heart of Northampton with ample free parking. The room was very comfortable although the trim in and around the bathroom door needed to be painted. The only really negative part of our stay was that the coffee in the room was awful and the coffee in the lobby was only slightly better. Thankfully, Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters is just down the street.
