Easy to find and park.

We stayed as an overnight option only. We used the pool briefly - room was clean and well presented. It was good to see the hotel was having some renovations refreshing the look but we were not told in advance of this. We didn’t have the need to use the restaurant or bar but if we did then I’m not sure it was accessible during the renovations. Quiet and comfortable all the same.

Location is too far from downtown Boston.

Have stayed here before and it’s a good property. The entire lobby was under construction so services are going to be disrupted some which is understandable. Checking in at 9p, it took a minute for the front desk to acknowledge us as he was on his phone. When he did, he was very pleasant and friendly, but a bit difficult to understand his accent. We were checked in quickly but we’re not offered the customary Doubletree cookies and they were not in sight anywhere. Room was standard and clean. However, trash that had been left in the hallway by 9p that night was still there at 8a the next morning. That is not usually the case. If in the area again, I might consider staying here, but there are a lot of great options 10 minutes away near the Apex center that would warrant more consideration.

It was clean & quiet. Excellent place to stay while visiting my son in Newton, MA.

Lobby undergoing renovation, no automatic doors or staff to help move luggage in or out of hotel, room smelled of offensive male cologne, thermostat/AC alternated between freezing and shutting off; staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be.

I arrived to a lobby that was almost completely under construction with the staff that was less than congenial. I have to say it was one of my least pleasant overnight experiences in a hotel when I informed them I should like an extra coffee for the morning. They said “no!” Not “I’m sorry, no” or “we have complementary coffee in the lobby. “. That will be my last double tree by Hilton

We stayed for two nights and loved it. The beds are comfortable. The air conditioning works great and they have full sized shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion bottles so there is plenty for everyone stay. We stayed in two of their newest rooms.

Average hotel. Not sure how it is 4 stars. Bathroom was super small and the hotel is undergoing renovations so lobby looks in complete disarray. Staff were not particularly welcoming - however the man who checked us in was pleasant it was more to do with staff not saying hello each time we came into lobby area.. Bit of a shame and felt like a low point of my vacation.

Place was being demolished while staying there. Room was small and not great. No lobby as it was all being renovated so no food but it was still expensive.

The hotel main lobby was under renovation when we stayed. Food was good though. The room was quite noisy from the hvac.

I had to switch rooms because the first room I was in had a filthy washroom. I hadn't noticed until I'd unpacked. The second room was not much better. And there was a massive leak in the washroom ceiling that made the toilet and surrounding floor soaking wet. No one was overly concerned, though they took note. No rooms to move me to, and I was there for two concerts, no time to deal with room stuff.

Property is currently under construction. No notice online before booking. No restaurant or real bar available. Aesthetically unpleasant atm.

The stay was okay and the room was very nice, but wish the website had indicated that there is massive renovations going on there and the services were limited, including the restaurants. I would have picked a different hotel has I known in advance.

Construction happening in the facility at the moment which took away from the overall experience BUT the room was very clean, comfortable and nice. Smelt fresh too!

Tonight (7/23) was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. My family checked in late, finding the lobby under construction. Our room on the second floor had a strong odor from renovations, triggering a family member's asthma. The front desk staff was indifferent and unhelpful. I contacted Expedia, who tried to reach the hotel, but the manager was unavailable. We decided to check out without a resolution or refund and booked another hotel nearby around 11:16 PM. By 11 AM on 7/24, after 12 hours and 90 minutes on the phone with Hotels.com, the hotel was still assessing the situation. At 8:13 PM, the manager was still unavailable. Hotels.com advised calling between 8-9 AM on 7/25. By 8 AM on 7/25, I left a voicemail for the Assistant General Manager. By 6 PM, still no response. Hotels.com informed me that DoubleTree denied the refund, but Hotels.com provided compensation. While I appreciate Hotels.com's efforts, I strongly advise against staying at this DoubleTree. This was my worst experience as a loyal Hilton customer.

The hotel is being renovated, and the rooms that are finished are very, very nice. The lobby still isn’t done, but they were very accommodating and we got checked in very easily.

Have stayed here multiple times and would continue to if it weren’t for this experience which was a nightmare beginning to end. The entire hotel was in shambles due to renovations which could have been manageable if only it did not affect the quality of the stay and hospitality which was certainly compromised under these circumstances. I was notified on the Hilton Honors app that my room was ready so I headed over to check in for them to tell me it wasn’t ready yet and to come back in half an hour. I returned an hour later for them to tell me that it still wasn’t ready, housekeeping is behind. I was surprised, but agreed to wait. Not a minute later and the room was somehow suddenly ready. When I got to the room and looked around the bathroom was in deplorable condition, the sink was dirty and there was poop splattered all over the toilet. I called the front desk to let them know (this was about a minute after I got up to the room maybe 4:05PM) and they said they were fully booked and they didn’t have any other rooms to offer me but they would send someone up to clean it. By 8 still no one had come to clean it so I left and called the front desk again to let them know I’d be leaving and they could call me once the room was cleaned - I got a voicemail at about 9:30 that it was ready but by that time I had made other arrangements. Really disappointed with this experience.

The property has been completely redone. The rooms are very good BUT the windows do not open and there is no fresh air. The air conditioning is cold but stale. I will not be returning.

The property is under construction and did not disclose this when booking. There is construction equipment all over the makeshift lobby. The staff doesn’t care about the customer. The hotel is dirty and there is a strong smell of weed. Not a place to bring your family. The staff should be embarrassed at the condition. I would not recommend staying here. I am looking for a new hotel.

Love the hotel, but the coffee in the front lobby is some of the worst I have ever tasted…and I have stayed in a lot of good and bad hotels around the USA and around the world. All else was really nice!

Room was clean and quiet. Food was great for brunch and the service staff was very friendly! Check in and check out went smoothly.
