Have stayed here before and at many other courtyards. This property is slipping. Checked into rom for 8 day stay. Found food in frig from previous guest. When I pulled back bed to covers I found a small suspicious looking red stain. Perhaps blood. If was too late to demand housekeeping task I slept on towels and was a bit creeped out. I called desk early next morning to explain situation and asked that the linens be changed in the next 10 hours. Imagine my disappointment when I returned 12 hours later and the linen had not been changed. Called desk and clerk told me they were very busy and they would get to it the next day. Unacceptable- I demanded a refund or room change. Housekeeping arrived an hour later. Overlay room and property are ok- needs attention to detail and better staff supervision. Potion and patio furniture in courtyard are dirty. Some doors and other things in common spaces need update and maintenance.

We stayed at the hotel just one night to attend a James Taylor concert at Ravinia. The location was perfect and the shuttle to and from the concert was well worth the $10/person charge. Staff was friendly and efficient. Volunteered to fix us a cafe americano mid afternoon even though the cafe was not open. Overall would highly recommend if you are attending a Ravinia event!

The room faces the inner courtyard is very quiet. The hotel is very clean. The location is good. Would stay again!

As usual mariott banvoys in the usa are not your international ones . Not even a hello or welcome at all in any mariott b on entering lobby even though youre the only customer. They almost look surprised you showed up . This one had 2 trainees who stared blankly at us . Just insert credit card , 0 hospitality , renovated old property , for a 1night layover on a road trip . Cleanliness /rooms : cramped 6/10

Very loud freeway noise and I was unable to sleep.

The building was really nice, the only real complain my wife & I had was that the bar was part of the entrance foyer with kids & teenagers hanging around. The bar "area" was NOT very baridh at all. Bar should be placed in a more private area.

Only stayed for one night but our stay was great, their indoor pool was fun and the employees were super kind to us definitely would stay there again.

Amazing service and communication. Room was clean, comfy, and everything worked. Overall the hotel made it feel like a home away from home.

Clean, quiet, and updated decor. We had a great time. Getting in and out of the property can be confusing, but having it tucked away from the main roads was delightful.

We were right near a door entrance. People were standing around talking very loudly, at night.
