The stay was only one night, we were however; in a room with an outside light in our faces and had to pull the curtains close. Our luck, i guess, as somebody has to have that room.

There was no elevator and one of the main entrance/exit side doors could not beentered with room key. Marie was excellent in her willingness and kindness ❤️ to make our stay bearable.

The staff was very friendly & helpful. The hotel was clean & rooms were nice. It was only about a 15-16 minute drive to the Marine Atlantic ferry terminal. The breakfast was good.

It is a shame a hotel can charge you for such a disgusting mess. We found a cockroach on the bed, yes you read it right. The room was always smelling bad (like musty) and they didn’t clean it every day, I would never be back. The breakfast room is not a room, it’s just a couple of tables and you should manage yourself as you can. Don’t take your family there, be aware!

Everything is good. Only complaint is they don’t have an elevator we have to carry our heavy luggage go to the 2nd floor and there is only one staircase at the end, maybe fire happens we will all run to one direction alone the hallway. The key to the outside door doesn’t work well. We normally have to tab a few times for the door to open. I am sure they will improve done the road. Also, they add $11+ marketing fee which we found weird, no other hotels charge that.

The "air conditioning" at max speed and coolness was basically blowing warm air for the two days we were there. The drain in the tub was very slow, so after a ten minute shower you're ankle deep in water. Let them know at checkout, but the guy didn't seem to take any notes and didn't ask for any details. The lady working the breakfast was lovely though!

Weird deal with no elevator and no stairwell to the second floor from the lobby.

There were few options to choose to stay in Sydney and this was the best of the bunch. Let’s start with the positive - the staff were great, it has a great view, was east o get to and was a quick drive to downtown. The rooms have been updated quite nicely and the breakfast was good
The downside there is no elevator which was not a huge deal but the stairs were at either end of the building and you had to you your key to get in which was awkward when carrying a load
The BIG negative was the used sheets on both beds in my room. The staff were very apologetic but from the the look of those sheets they’d been left more than once. I was brought clean sheets on request

People were slamming doors all night long, the hotel staff didn’t intervene. Breakfast starts at 7 am which is really late for those getting the ferry to NL. Found the hotel very average, it’s ok if you’re just looking to spend a night.

I was shocked to find out no elevator at 73 trying to bring over 50 lbs of luggage up stairs was rediculous. The condition of the bldg was not goodAnd hallways smelled dirty. Felt the place was not clean. Though the bed was good. Breakfast was scared. Not even butter out till i asked. The staff was great. There was even cigarette butts outside by entrance. Was very disappointed other comfort inn was great. The price did not reflect all of this

I found the lady at the front desk was wonderful. She was upbeat and so very friendly. The breakfast was very good too.

Otherwise the overall standard was fine. Breakfast was nice and appreciated. A major complaint was that staff made an error by placing sports team of young folks amongst regular guest rooms. Had to call front desk to complain of people running up and down hall outside our door and yelling in car parking lot at 10:45 at night. While that complaint was addressed fairly promptly, doors to neighbouring rooms began slamming at 5 am. So this hotel created an environment that prevented us from obtaining a restful nights’ sleep, which I believe is a fundamental expectation when booking a hotel room for the night. I would think twice before booking this hotel again.
