Stayed for 4 night's on a very good black Friday deal via Trip Advisor. Centrally located near the Ala Moana mall with access via a skybridge through the Macy's parking lot, with many eateries & stores. Rooms were on the small size, but a comfortable mattress. Had to request additional pillows (none in closet or additional blankets) since they were on the small size. Large size chair serves as a pull out single mattress. Fridge, coffee maker & microwave included. Pool & fitness room access on 4th floor via Kona Tower or 3rd floor via the Waikiki tower. Free pool & beach towels, as well as free covered cabanas too. A free map would've helped to navigate to/from Skybridge. Lobby chairs & sofa were too soft, which made it difficult to rise. Water bottle filler near elevators is an added amenity. View from the 36th floor of the Waikiki tower is breathtaking. Walking distance to the Magic Island park. Fifteen minute walk to Walmart & Sam's Club. Friendly & courteous staff. Several times calling front desk resulted in automatic disconnections.

Everything was wonderful and fantastic, the only complain that I have the bid in room 838 was so soft. I pretty much hurt my neck and my back.. I think you need to get some new bed. That bed was pretty bad.

Lovely rooms and staff :) Laundrette is due for an update but the lobby and rest of the building is modern and lovely. There are shops in the motel and also next door in the Ala Moana shopping centre. A short bus ride to Waikiki. Great place to stay for couples, families, everyone!

We had an amazing stsy. Close to the mall, Target, Walmart and restaurants all in walking distance. Frindly Staff

Always a good time at the Ala Moana. This room was rather on the small side, but it was comfortable enough.

This hotel was very nice , the staff was friendly and house keeping was great. The water wouldn’t get too warm which I was a little uncomfortable with but overall tolerable. My biggest issue was this hotel has a terrible parking situation! Many cars were double parked in front of each other due to lack of parking spaces and if you wanted to get out the valet people had to wait for others to move their vehicles before you can get out. The parking was also dirty and sketchy.

Ala Moana is a very relaxing place to say in in Hawaii.

2 night stay with friend. Hotel very close to public transport. Bathroom needed some TLC - rust on shower-head, flaky paint and not very clean. Very friendly receptionist and timely help with delivery of jug from housekeeping.

The place is a bit dated and needs renovation. The room though is generally clean. Very near the convention center where the Pokemon event was held and near the mall.

Overall the stay deserves 4 stars, my biggest complaints are the surrounding areas around the hotel. The hotel needs to do their due diligence to make sure the walkways/side walks surround the hotel are clean and safe. There is a lot of homeless around the area especially behind the hotel that we saw on multiple nights walking back to the hotel. It is a 20-30 minute walk to Waikīkī beach depending on how fast you walk so that’s great.

The property offers so many options for eating and is conveniently located next to the Ala Moana Mall and Waikiki. Can’t go wrong with Starbucks on the ground floor of the hotel. The convenience store is fully stocked with everything from snacks, microwaveable meals, medicine, whatever you need, this store supplies! Staff is friendly and very professional. This is my go-to hotel in Honolulu!!

Perfect room, convenient location, next to the mall, 5 min beach walk.

The security of the building. You have to use your card after hours and for the elevators 24/7.

we decided to stay here for our honeymoon. and it wasn’t too bad. the rooms r small but we didn’t stay in the room much. the bathroom didn’t seem that clean, the tub looked like it hadn’t been scrubbed out very well. they did come everyday to put new towels and make the bed. that was a plus. idk if i would stay here again or not

I love that Expedia gives a lower rate then local rate. This hotel is centrally located. There is a catwalk to the Alamoana shopping center so it’s fantastic. One thing I would like to note is that I wish you had more options for room upgrades on your app at lower prices I don’t know fantastic hotel, beautiful stay

I liked the spacious lobby, and it was very welcoming!

The property is very nice. My room had a terrible odor. I tol the front desk, nothing changed. I had a headache every night from the smell. I wondered if the restaurant one floor up had a grease trap or plumbing problem. Then a perfume smell was way too much..like trying to cover up the odor. It was not good at all.

The personal staff are great, but the rooms are old and not properly maintained. For the price we paid is better to rent and ab&b.qr
