I was not expecting much just a place to sleep, but I was pleasantly surprised by the facility. The rooms were clean and the staff was nice to deal with. The floors in the room were vinyl so no nasty old carpet in the room. Room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable and maybe fairly new. It is an older hotel but they did a great job in making the best of it.

I chose the hotel for price and location. We were pleasantly surprised with the staff. Every dealing with them was fantastic. Will definitely be back. My only negative was the lack of a grab bar for shower.

DATED PROPERTY WITH NEW FLOORING. NEEDS MORE TLC. PICKED TO STAY HERE BECAUSE IT SITS NEXT TO THE POLICE STATION. BREAKFAST NOT SO GOOD.

We stayed in Alamogordo for a race in Cloudcroft. It was nice to not be so far away and the hotel was quiet at night.

The bed was very hard an uncomfortable but the hotel itself was very clean and well maintained. It’s also behind a police station so that was a plus for safety reasons

The AC machine was loud and turned to heat in the middle of the night. I understand the desert area may be cold at night, but during the hot daytime, it still heated the room. I tried to switch the machine to cold, but it didn't work. My husband didn't sleep well. I guess you get what you pay for. The price is cheap compared to other nearby hotels with decent reviews.

Inexpensive, good service and a good continental breakfast. Room smelled pretty strongly of scent that I believe was trying to cover up a smoke smell but a good stay otherwise. Thanks!

This was an average room for an above average price. It's an older hotel but has been maintained ok. It was comfortable enough for a night sleep while traveling, but even so kinda pricey.

The hotel is outdated and structurally out of date. The water faucet in the shower didn’t work properly and was either too hot or lukewarm.

My family enjoyed the stay for the two nights we booked it. It was clean and no weird smell. They actually move furniture to sweep and mop. Super Friendly staff!

The room was clean and comfortable. Door has a bit of a gap so light from hallway filters through. A lot of hallway noise of slamming doors and running was heard in the middle of the night.

This is a Super 8, so it's not a luxury property. Our room was small and the lobby area--while functional and as pleasant as possible, was crammed into a teeny-tiny space, giving the illusion of everything being crowded and claustrophobic.
But the price was great, our room was clean, the bed was wonderful, the staff was really wonderful and the surrounding area was quiet and felt safe. I think it's a great choice for travelers going through Alamogordo.
