We specifically chose the hotel because of its location and it had a hot tub. We were really looking forward to the hot tub because we needed to relax. Very disappointed that the hot tub was not working.

Breakfast is a total rip off. $16.95 for a substandard breakfast while the competition is providing fruit, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, and grits at no surcharge. Sad; very sad.

I booked one night by Hotels.com several months ago and got a reminder one day before stay. Nevertheless I got refused by the staff saying “your reservation has been cancelled”. I couldn’t believe that and understand how come such a terrible event happened. It was midnight and l had to accept an alternative he offered to me. It was terrible though I appreciate his help. It may be better never to book this hotel again.

Paid over $400 for a double room. Building was clearly old apartments that were converted to a hotel, but still feels like apartments. Tiny elevator that we could not get our bags and 4 people in. A/c in room sounded like a 747 taking off. Poorly lit room. The housekeeper left my family of 4 with one bath towel. The area around lake hood used to be safe but now there are drug addicts panhandling and walking around making it unsafe to walk for food so we ordered delivery. For $150 maybe $200 a night if you were desperate and needed to be close to the airport. $400 was absolutely criminal.

Convenient location close to the airport. Free shuttle to-from airport. On first morning we reported our shower valve was broken (resulting in scalding water moments after entering the shower). They may have made an attempt to fix but it was not fixed. We stayed two nights and couldn’t use the shower - very disappointing (the hotel should have offered a solution or at the very least a nice credit).

Requested room for 5 and got one that at best could sleep 3. Close to airport so not best walking around area. Staff nice but when asked what to do in area (hikes, boat tours, etc) was told only knows the museum downtown. Price for a limited breakfast higher than great meals you can get at different restaurants about 1-2 miles away. Not worth the room rate we paid.

The room was not clean. The sink and toilet were dirty. The blanket underneath the comforter had what looked like old blood stains on it. Room was quiet and large.They have a GREAT hottub. It was big and clean and soooo hot. I like a very hot hottub but it was almost too hot for me. It would probably be an unsafe temperature for children and elderly.

Decent hotel to stay. Staff are smiling and friendly, despite the cold weather. Unfortunately, it’s -17 outside and very dry here and this hotel doesn’t offer small complimentary lotions. That’s a first! Breakfast buffet (similar to a typical continental breakfast) is $17. There’s a Starbucks inside the lobby, which was great. I also used the hot tub/spa since it was so cold out and the pool area was very clean and nice. I would stay here again.

We got two towels even though we booked a room for 3 people. For a hotel by the airport you would think they would do better soundproofing but all night you just heard people slamming doors and chatting up and down the hallway. There was nothing but 1 hook to hang anything on in the bathroom. It was an odd set up.
Springhill by Marriott just slightly across town is hands down MUCH better. Stay there.

There were bugs in the room; woke up with huge itchy welts and when I showed the reception the manager assured me that they will change the bedsheets and check thoroughly. Since I was travelling for work, I believed the manager and left for work, when I came back, the bed was stripped, however the old bedsheets and everything else was left on the sofa in the room and I was not given replacements. The day I checked out, I woke up and a saw a bed bug crawl into the mattress. Would not recommend this hotel at all.
