Great stay, clean, quiet and comfortable. I would stay there again.

The person at the front desk with the doggy was the best aspect of Mission Inn. I wish I hadn't booked the week. The room smelled like cigarettes and after house keeping "cleaned" it smelled like poop. Super gross! It was also noisy and very old. No hooks for anything. The AC was loud, fridge too. Although it was affordable I wouldn't stay there again.

Nice and quite

Booked ADA room. High curb, sloped drive, NO ADA parking. Young person (maybe not even 18) at reception. Didn't know anything. Manager REFUSES to refund my money. I am calling them today. I'm filing a complaint with the authorities. I'm calling BBB. I'm posting on all appropriate sites.

I always book Mission inn for my stay in San Luis Obispo room price are always good . Rooms are always clean although carpet could use a cleaning other than that it’s very quiet certainly recommend

I was gone most of the day I left at 8:00am I put a tag outside my room asking for maid service it’s about 6:30pm and still I have no made service I basically dumped my trash in my room myself when I first checked in they had me for checking in the day before this is my first time staying here and the last

This motel is great. It is pet friendly for DOGS ONLY. Hotels.com you need to make sure you say in your discriptions what KIND of pet can stay at motel. This is very important!

Simple property but pleasant staff and great walkable location! Great restaurants within 10 min walk. Try 1885 pub sleek and modern with excellent food…. Breakfast at Apple Yard great too!

Room rates are reasonable. Shower head would not stay in place. No body wash soap in shower. Parking is tight.

Bed was very nice and comfortable. Sadly the room deadbolt didn’t work, the strike place wasn’t aligned correctly, room had a weird smell when we first entered, the sink overflow drain was nasty. Coffee maker was temperamental, and only worked when it wanted. Parking was tight, many spots seemed to be compact spots.

So its a well priced, decent hotel. Pretty standard for the area. They turned a horrible situation into a palatable/good stay. The Front Desk folks are accommodating and nice, but not generous in smiles/customer service, but all good , no problem. I wasnt looking for anything more. The problem was my room. Room 224. I walked in and it smelled as if something died in there. The smell was a combination of years of sex, drugs and rotten food and a carpet that had endured all the above and never cleaned. The bathroom had another fragrance altogether, lol So i thought i could air it out, but to no avail. Went back to the front desk and they were able to put me in another room right away. Again, not the most accommodating customer service, but to the point and lacking in sympathy, but a fine, seamless transition. The new room was good, exactly what you'd expect. The cleaning crew are VERY hard working, running about the place trying to clean and dress the rooms. They do a good job. All in all a fine stay. I think room 224 is in transition as there were a couple of workmen on site remodeling rooms. They probably should not have rented 224 out until it's had it's facelift. It's a fine place to stay.
