Well, check-in was a joke. We watched as the women with the big hair gave people keys for thier room and left us seated there. It was almost 2 o'clock when a male staff member said are you waiting for a room. Magically the room was ready. Very disappointed with the customer service. It was quite obvious that she was making us wait till the last minute. Doors hanging off in the hallway. Will not be returning.

Very friendly staff and great location but rooms are under renovation and need it badly! Clean but I’m need of repair. Breakfast good but cold at 8.45 am’

Hotel was a great little stop. Only negative was the internet was lacking but turns out there was lots to do outside! Nice pool, restaurant and location.
Would stay here again. We stayed in a newly renovated room which was nice also.

Our booking was missing (Hotels.com didn't book room ?) .But Staff booked upgraded room where was water front room.We are very appreciate staffs hospitality and attendance.

Room comfortable be it a little tired however renovations of the rooms are under way. Property overall could do with a makeover. Both nights I ate in the restaurant, food nice however chef came out to each table to check on the meal, nice touch.

Good bed, great view, car park small, walls and ceilings not very soundproof. Shower tap’s noisy.

The place was good. The rooms could do with a refurbishment. But we’re clean and comfortable.

This place is in a great location it really needs an update the tiles are coming off the pool, it has its original carpet, it’s very noisy early in the mornings as the cleaning staff have personal conversations in the hallway with no respect for sleeping guests.

Staff were lovely.
Room was neat and tidy, with the exception of food wrapper under the bed.
Room is a little aged and probably due for a renovation. (room 216)
Bed was a let down. Some big boppers have later in there and you sink into their hole.
Guest washing machine is used by staff to clean the mop heads. That was a bit off putting.

Staff are friendly. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent and on par with many top quality restaurants - but at a reasonable price.
Close to the town and the Marina - a great place to stay.

The property was being renovated and was quiet and clean. Parking was easy and close to centre of Port Maquarie.

The photos did not justify the actual room I stayed in, the room was old and dark. The bathroom was old and the taps rattled when water was turned on.

Very lovely, well priced accommodation in a beautiful renovated king room by the pool. Super comfortable bed. Well located to nearby restaurants. Free parking and nice coffee from the bar. Highly recommended.

The property was in a great location and for the price is was ok. I probably wouldn’t stay there again. The staff were friendly but the shower was useless, couldn’t get the right temperature or any water pressure.

When ever I stay here (every 8 weeks for work) the staff are always friendly and the room is always clean. Great location and great pricing. Only downside is, the Mexican restaurant out the front isn’t open through week days :(

Property was close to everything, which is amazing. Could use a little maintenance on some of the doors, as the door to the balcony tended to stick a bit

Lovely views from the front of the Hotel. Overlooking the water. A walking track left or right took in some great photo shots
Within walking distance to shops.
With a restaurant within the hotel no need to venture out to eat, great food choices and nice service.
I recommend this Hotel for its great location.

You get what you pay for. As we were only using this for somewhere to sleep a cheap room on the road side of the hotel was fine. The room was pretty old and a bit dated maybe even overpriced but it was school holidays and Anzac weekend so everything was pricey.
I heard that some rooms have been updated so maybe check before booking. Great staff, nice bar, pool area looked great and it's a short stroll into town for restaurants. I'd stay again.

Overall a very pleasant stay. We had stayed there over 30 years ago and were a little disappointed by how old the place was for the price. Maybe a refresh and upgrade would be nice.
