Old and tired

I have stayed here several times. This room was closer to the road so not as quiet. Room has everything needed for a short stay.

Check in was a breeze owner/receptionist was lovely. Room was tastefully decorated and updated but that’s where the good review ends unfortunately. Was placed in a downstairs room with the pool/gate area next to me which wouldn’t be an issue had the windows been double glazed or sound proof to any capacity which they weren’t. You could hear people all night walking past your front door clear as day as that also is not sound proof. Every toilet flush/shower can be heard from the rooms downstairs and makes for a pretty restless night if you’re a light sleeper. The internet was subpar most tv shows and movies buffer or just don’t work at all. Speeds max 6mbps which for Australian standards is pretty poor. Would use my phone if the whole of Grafton wasn’t a dead spot for phone service.

really nice pool area and easy access to the river and paths. nice shutters in the rooms. and light and airy.

The room was extremely clean. The manager was caring and went out of his way to assist our needs.

The staff members at the motel were very helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Accommodation was basic but clean and fresh.
