I have stayed here several times. This room was closer to the road so not as quiet. Room has everything needed for a short stay.

Check in was a breeze owner/receptionist was lovely.
Room was tastefully decorated and updated but that’s where the good review ends unfortunately.
Was placed in a downstairs room with the pool/gate area next to me which wouldn’t be an issue had the windows been double glazed or sound proof to any capacity which they weren’t.
You could hear people all night walking past your front door clear as day as that also is not sound proof.
Every toilet flush/shower can be heard from the rooms downstairs and makes for a pretty restless night if you’re a light sleeper.
The internet was subpar most tv shows and movies buffer or just don’t work at all. Speeds max 6mbps which for Australian standards is pretty poor. Would use my phone if the whole of Grafton wasn’t a dead spot for phone service.

Highly recommend staying here when visiting Grafton. Staff are super friendly and the accommodation is spacious, clean and well-maintained. The self-contained cottage was perfect for our group of 4. We really enjoyed our stay. Clay

Very convenient to shops etc ...nice rooms and friendly staff but rooms cld have been cleaner re very dusty and maybe the AC needed a service!

A friendly and pleasant lady checked us in and gave us the key to our room. The room was clean, tidy and welcoming.
The motel was in a pleasant area and handy to the main high street.

We really enjoyed our stay, the lovely man behind the counter suggested a great spot to have dinner. It was clean and the room was lovely. Only thing I was disappointed in was the spa pool (Maybe I was impatient), which didn’t heat up.

The room was nice and tidy. My family of five fit well in the family room and it had nice facilities. Was close to town and quiet. Check in was quick and easy.

We spent two nights at Fitzroy Motor Inn Grafton and were really impressed with it. The staff were professional & service-oriented. The location was handy to the CBD as well as other places of interest. Facilities including a pool, laundry and an electric vehicle charging station made our stay easy. Above all, our rooms were comfortable and clean with all appliances working first go. A fabulous joint at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

The hosts were very accommodating and friendly.
The owners have also installed 2 Tesla chargers for re-charging of Tesla vehicles. They offer complimentary charging for guests who have a Tesla and are staying at their motel. This is a very nice thing to do and will certainly influence me staying at this motel again, should the need arise.
