Very disappointed in staff. Had tv issues it was resolved in a time manner second night same thing and was told nothing I can do for you and another room had the same issue. Need to get there act together. Then Sunday morning my grandsons straw out of his veti type cup fell in the ice machine drain ,the employee was to busy on her phone to give a crap as to what just happened even to think she might help. Disappointing

Staff friendly, efficient. The property, room, hot tub were all very clean and well maintained. Breakfast omelet was a treat. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent motel for the price! Clean, comfortable beds, breakfast with lots of choices with omelette and waffle making machines. Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed 5 nights and room was serviced every day. We didn’t use the pool but it looked great and others were enjoying it. Would recommend it!

The rooms are nicely furnished, great breakfast, friendly staff. We really enjoyed staying here. And Hastings is a very nice town to spend a day. Cute downtown and lots of trails for hiking or biking.

So disappointed with Nichols Inn. We were there for a hockey tournament and the second night the front desk threatened to call the police on us, the parents! We were sitting in the lobby (they had closed off the breakfast area and said we couldn’t use that area) eating pizza and having some drinks. It was calm, quiet and we were visiting with another team as well. The front desk person said we were loitering, we needed to leave or she’d call the police. They also closed the pool down but our boys were not swimming at the time. This was at 8:40pm!

The hot breakfast was lacking no sausage or bacon to go with the omlett and super small portions to add to your omlett

The outside looks a little rough but the inside is nice. Staff is accommodating and friendly. Room was clean.
