The motel was older, but well maintained. The owner was friendly. They provided a nice continental breakfast with a cute dining area in the lobby. If you are looking for a nice, clean place and don’t mind that it is a little older, then you probably won’t mind staying here. The location is great and close to all the attractions of Mount Airy.

The room (with a shower/toilet room and a sink just outside the bath) was immaculately clean, beds, pillows and comforters were very comfortable. Front desk was very polite. It was not posh, but clean, secure (chain lock, door knob lock and throw bolt) and very popular.

Very nice place, comfortable bed, very clean. Came to Mt. Airy for a getaway trip, very conveniently located to this quaint town. Thanks to our Host at the hotel, he was Great!!!! Don

It needed to be cleaned better, breakfast food needs more of a selection. Not everyone eat pastries, or waffles and other bread items. Need to have coffee maker in rooms.

This hotel is subpar at best. Not worth the price. At check in the credit card machine did not work. I spent a half hour waiting for the clerk to try to get it to work with no avail. I finally had to go and get cash to pay for the room. The ice machine was out of order. Our room's air conditioner barely worked and it was off when we got to the room. The room smelled like bleach and the floor was sticky. The bathroom is the size of a closet. The breakfast was horrible. The juice machine did not work and the bagels were stale.

This is a motel style property but the rooms are very clean and updated. Some dining options within walking distance. Bed was very comfortable I’ve paid twice the price for a room not as clean and nice as this one. Would readily stay here again.

I was really disappointed in the motel in itself. Not so great customer service, room half clean, holes in the comforters and stains on the sheets. The floor was filthy. Very outdated. Even as an economy motel- it is very overpriced for what you get. We definitely will not visit this location again.

This property was all we needed. Clean quiet and cool. Nothing fancy but personnel was great. Will stay there again.

We stayed here on our way to Niagara Falls, was pleasantly surprised how nice the rooms were even the swimming pool. Even though a few umbrellas for the tables would’ve been nice. Mark was very accommodating and friendly. We will stay here again if we are in the area. Dollar General is right next to the hotel, which is great. Trump 2024 check twice for motorcycles

Check in was great. Guy was quick and efficient, very nice. Room was spotless, organized. Evidently recently remodeled. Room size was good for 2 adults, 2 kids. Best .. most comfortable motel bed I've slept on. Very quiet at night. Only thing I can complain.. not really... the tv picture was a bit dark, and I couldn't adjust it. Breakfast was a bit scarce, but area was clean and neat. Probably the best motel I've been in as far as I can remember. Kids loved the pool BTW!

This hotel is dated (I got a literal key!). BUT … the bedding and room were clean. Bed was comfortable and the location was very convenient to where I was going every day. WiFi worked great - I spent part of my days working and didn’t have any issues. There is a pool that looked clean and well kept, but I didn’t have a chance to use it.
Breakfast isn’t much. Coffee was OK and the staff I interacted with were very nice.
Worth the price.

The only bad thing I can say about this hotel is it offers breakfast but breakfast was horrible. There was no fruit. There was 2 type of cereal with milk sitting on the counter at room temperature. There was coffee and OJ. There was a loaf bread for toast. So don’t count on breakfast. The pool was nice, the room was large and clean. The in room microwave was from the 80’s but worked and the mini fridge was small but worked for a couple of cans of soda.

Nice, no frills motel. Bed was comfortable, but pillows were hard. Service was great. Pool is old, but useable. We like the old school motels when you can park in front of your room. Close to restaurants and downtown Mount Airy.

This is a great Knights Inn. Front desk personnel was very friendly and helpful in giving recommendations for restaurants in the area. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip thru NC.

Shower drain was so slow water was backing up into tub while showering.

You can tell this an older hoyel but they have made some great improvements to update the unit. The beds were comfortable but need updating along with the top blank. There is not second floor so very convenient to park you csrd and get some stuff in. It would do for a night are.
They only down fall they can charge by the person after 2 people. I didn't know hotel still done that. Also there is not much to the breakfast.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a day pr 2.

The room was clean and comfortable! Our only challenge was the heater. We were awakened at 2am because it was turning on and off every 13 seconds (yes, we timed it.)

We use this hotel every year on way south. The staff is always very nice. The room is large with a nice tv(HBO,Showtime), and fridge. Usually very clean. One chunk of hair on the floor by the nightstand but that’s it, and that was a first. Otherwise spotless. King bed is very comfortable. Quiet and right off the highway. Convenient to some great restaurants. The breakfast is very basic but for the price you couldn’t ask for more. We’ll be back next year.

Excellent friendly customer service. Our room was clean, and the bathroom was spotless and updated. Bath towels were crisp, white, and fluffy.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Even though hotel was old it was updated nicely. Beds were comfortable pillows were nice and the place was very clean. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again
