My stay allowed me to visit friends, complete personal business, and enjoy the beautiful area. I found the hotel homelike, set in a woodsy spot with easy access to drive in and out to any destination. All the staff were great. The building is older which I liked; it was well maintained.
The room furniture setup was not functionally optimal for me but might be for someone else. I don't think the alarm clocked worked, but everything else probably did. Also, my room keys stopped working every two days, not due to user error because they immediately worked again when the staff reset them each time.

We needed a place to stay for one night in Pine Hurst. The beds were comfortable, room was clean, large and had a kitchenette. Breakfast was hot, waffle maker, eggs, etc.

Hotel has deceptive pictures as are the Springhill commercials from Marriott. It was 1 room, not a suite, not 2 rooms. Not a living room and a bedroom. Beware, no privacy. Breakfast was halfa**. Some days they made eggs, other days it was trash. Broken juice machine, staff wont refill bottled waters in cooler, even if asked multiple times.

We found the property in very good condition after the renovation from earlier this year. No visible sign of work in progress. Any construction debris and dust had been removed. The suites were clean, neat and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is limited but service good and coffee was plentiful and hot.

Normally i enjoy my stay at the Pinehurst location not last night. With my fiance abd grandchildren overnight we encountered a person and his dog barking and all night. He was next door to me swearing loudly with another person in the middle of the night. The dog was running up and down the hallway barking. THE ABSOLUTE WORSE EXPERIENCE IVE EVER ENCOUNTERED THERE. Reported this to Dominic at 6:15 am he stated he'd gotten one other complaint but waited till kimberly mc came in passed info to her she then called police at 8.

The morning coffee that was offered/available was not drinkable. Please invest in a good coffeemaker. It would keep me from booking there again.

The hotel is currently undergoing remodeling. The first floor is very dusty. The breakfast offered is very basic and lacking in variety, with no sausage, eggs, or bacon available. The only fruit option provided is bananas. However, the staff are friendly and accommodating.

The property is under renovation they should be closed immediately it is unsafe and noisy for guests, all you see is worker's vehicles

Hotel was under construction and they placed us on the 1st floor next to the construction. We were only guests on 1st floor. Every morning of our stay we were woken up by the remodel crew.

My room was literally falling apart. Carpet was unraveling and had red stains all over it, not blood but like a paint. The walls in the bathroom looked like they were suffering from water damage but kept being repaired, but looked terrible. The room didn’t have black out curtains but a very bright street light right outside. Breakfast was bad, not worth eating. The coffee was not bad. The halls had a lingering smell of cigarette smoke. The room had a strange layout where the tv could not be viewed from the beds like you would find in most rooms.

This is a pleasant hotelm staff is amazing and the breakfast options are wonderful. The only issue I had was the early morning noise for breakfast preparation. My room was 113 unfortunately next to the kitchen /prep area. That also meant alo of other guests going down early to eat and making a lot of noise in the hallway. However, don't let that detour you. This is a wonderful hotel. I will stay again if needed but will ask for a room for from the front of the hotel and first floor. Thanks to the amazing staff.

This is a nice, clean hotel with very friendly staff. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the breakfast wasn’t the best.

Hotel is dated currently and will be remodeled in the new year. Nether the less rooms were quite comfortable and staff were very attentive. The rooms are large and spacious and it is a convenient location in Southern Pines.

Overall the property was fine. Our room did not have blackout curtains, only sheets and the lights from the parking lot were shining in all night. The breakfast was simply awful.

The 2 ladies at the front desk Saturday night and Sunday morning were so kind. The one on Sunday morning even offered to help me carry my bags when there wasn’t a cart available and I have a shoulder injury. I will definitely stay here again.
