Amazing stay!
Staff were super nice and even asked if we needed any recommendation.
Room that we stayed at was very spacious.
It is a little far from subway station but worth it since its quite at night. They also offer a shuttle every 15 minutes to Osaka station.

We ventured to Osaka after a stopover in Kyoto, staying at the RHIGA hotel in Osaka. We have stayed at the RHIGA Osaka several times in the past including a family trip in May 2023.
We like the convenience of the hotel’s relative closeness to Osaka Station and having access to the hotel’s free shuttle service to and from the hotel to the JR Osaka Station.
For some reason we ended up with a handicap accessible room which meant a very roomy bathroom. While our booking did not include breakfast there were many breakfast places to choose from at Osaka Station. I did note that the comforter and the pillows at the RHIGA Osaka were more comfortable that the RHIGA Kyoto and their shuttle bus started earlier and ended later than the shuttle service at the RHIGA Kyoto.
Of special note were the international staff who greeted us when we approached the front desk and the concierge. The knowledgeable staff were able to answer our questions without us having to go to the front desk. I suspect this service is in preparation for the Osaka Expo which will be taking place in 2025. Great service, reasonable prices for an upscale hotel and the expanded hours of their shuttle bus are big pluses when looking for a hotel in Osaka that’s not too close to the train station

Not much to do within walking distance, beds smell funny, the pool is not included charge per person. Airbnb is a much better choice.

The west wing building that I reserved has been under renovation, but there was no information about it when I booked a room on the website of Expedia. As the room was very noisy, the hotel gave me another room at more quiet wing without any noise of construction. Expedia should have told us such information in advance.

Aircon didn’t work, they wouldn’t change our room until the morning which we only had 2 hours left for checkout. Don’t recommend this for Australians, we prefer a much better service then this

Overrated hotel. All ac unit didnt work properly. Expensive and terrible buffet. They charge you for everything like the pool per day. Personell super friendly.
There is no lobby. Just a counter.

Beautiful hotel. Excellent staff and service. Conveniently located near Osaka University Nakanoshima Center and Nakanoshima Museum of Art. Exquisite Japanese restaurant on 30th floor with stunning views.

I like the convenience of the shuttle bus to Osaka Station. The staff was very friendly . I simply loved the waterfall tea lounge area as well.

It was generally good to stay in the hotel. The location seems good because I don't prefer crowded areas. I can suggest one thing: changing a couple of side dishes in the Japanese style breakfast every day.

Clean and professional atmosphere in the hotel, conveniently it had everything. Even had its own shopping centre.

When I booked online, it wrote the hotel will offer 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed, so it worth HK$1347 is reasonable.
But when we checked in, the staff just offered to us two single beds in 180 sq feet room.
The staff also insisted to increase the room fee of JPY5,000 without increase the bed size or room size, also no additional pillow and blanket offered. Because we have one additional kid. So we lived in very crowed room.
The staff said : we have no more room. All rooms are fully booked.
But when we walked around the hotel, it is conducting decoration, repair and maintenance works in many other floors.
In addition, the hotel lobby is very old.

Be wary. False advertising. Don’t be fooled by the pictures of the pool. Not every room has access to the pool unless you pay 5900 yen per visit. I booked this hotel thinking I had access to the pool. If I knew I had to pay 5900 yen to use the facilities, I would booked some place else.

The hotel is great, clean and friendly staff. The shuttle bus is very convenient to go to Osaka station, which has shopping and dining. Thought there’s gym and swimming pool but not accessible for us ( you have to pay daily rate to use). The subway is accessible to the hotel going to Osaka Castle.

I cannot say enough about how RIHGA hits all the marks. Atmosphere, comfort, staff politeness and attentiveness and the surrounding shops/restaurants. The hotel even has a subway stop on one of the lower floors to easily travel to different transfer platforms without ever setting foot outside!

Alll the food is way over priced and not as good as a random restaurant you could find within a 10min walk.
The bar was overpriced considering the 711 in the basement sellls same drink for 100-200 yen.

We loved the shuttle bus to Osaka station and plenty of shops underneath and also at 711, which was handy.The breakfast was lovely, great.Buffet highly recommended. The staff were so helpful

This hotel wasn't as conveniently located as I had hoped for sightseeing but it was very well priced and the included breakfast was extensive. The room was clean but on the older or more dated side. You can tell it was a very grand hotel when it was built. Even though it is dated, it is kept up well and clean. The staff was very helpful as we had some pressing personal issues that came up during out stay. It was easy to find an English speaking staff person to help us. I wished there was a laundry facility onsite, that was the only thing lacking. The price was very economical and we were happy with our stay.
