Excellent stay, but stay away from the massage that was expensive mistake not even professional.

A historical take on luxury and class. Iconic property. I have a lot of memories with this hotel, since it was also a movie theater, where i would hideout in after cutting class.

It is an excellent hotel especially if you are interested in colonial era properties. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The property has been recently refurbished. They did a ln outstanding job. I’ve stayed at the Majestic before and will do so again. Excellent.

The service level of staffs are different which should not be accepted as a 5 star hotel. The hotel itself is classic/retro/old/etc., depend on person/guests what they expect to the hotel.

We stayed 3 night. Room services cleaned up room every times while we ware away, and served bottled water. It was little disappointing that sound isolation is not so good.

Loved the old world feel with modern amenities

We didn’t realize this hotel was attached to a casino, so the hotel vibe was rather “Las Vegas-like”. So if you enjoy parties, smoking, and lively entertainment, this is the hotel for you. However, we had just travelled 8 hours from another city and were exhausted when we got here. We were looking forward to a comfortable luxurious 5-star, and was very disappointed. We checked in around 8pm and after settling in, wanted to dine at one of the restaurants. Two of the restaurants were closed, one of the lounge was filled with people smoking, and the other was on the patio outside 40 degrees humid temperatures and someone singing (yelling) into the microphone on stage. As we waited for our food, sitting at high top chairs, the heat and noise became unbearable and we decided to get our food to go to eat at our hotel room where there is Ac. The service was mediocre to be honest, and we decided to check out the next day and stay at a different hotel.

Great view of the river. You can feel the excitement of being in growing country.

Hotel nice and clean everything excellent will be back love it

A beautiful hotel with all the style you would expect from a french styled building. The staff are wonderful, friendly and always helpful. We had a problem with a balcony door that was letting in some street noise so they showed us another room to check we were happy then moved all our things to the new room without any fuss. They even threw in a gift and cocktails voucher as an apology. It has various bars with different feels so you can have variety. Great views of the river but that means some street noise. The pool view rooms would be quieter. They will celebrate their centenary in 2025.

A historic hotel with lovely staff. Furnishings are a little dated (eg the carpets) and the beds seem to sag in the middle. The breakfast on the 5th floor provides a lovely selection of food and if you are early enough, you can snag a seat by the window overlooking the river.

The suite around the pool has no privacy. Magnificent Suite but I would take a different one next time. Entertainment on Level 8 is too loud for the average client of this beautiful hotel, We went there but for 20 seconds only.

The property is old. And staff don’t want to service.

At the rooftop bar. We ordered two cocktails: jack daniel with coke. The final bills shows two jack Daniel and two cokes. First, nobody changes cocktails separately with whiskey and coke, second, we never have those two cokes if you charged us. Please do business with normal sense. Thanks

We had a very pleasant stay here. The room was lovely and the bed was so comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful too.

Very nice, friendly staff who are helpful and kind. Great location and very central to everything. No complaints, just note that the Casino no loner operates or exists if you’re selecting this hotel on that basis.
