Visited for Eurovision. We were given a room at the front of the hotel next to a very loud bar/club that went on until 3am. Pack earplugs! Room is basic but the shower was decent enough. There is no bar at the hotel which we weren't prepared for. Excellent location, friendly staff. Just needs an upgrade throughout.

In the heart of the City

It was just a small room. A place to sleep. No dresser,, use your suitcase. A desk, WiFi and a port nice shower. I don’t know if this was a typical hotel room for this city/country. But it was clean and a very reasonable rate. I don’t know if the pounding music from the clubs next door (until 3am most nights) effects the price though it probably does.

We arrived very late (flight was late, then after midnight there's only one train an hour to Malmo from the airport) but it was no problem at all. The bed was a dream. The view was lovely out the window in the morning. And the breakfast. OH MY GOSH, I cannot say enough good things about that breakfast. The morning shot, the vegan and gluten free options (I'm not gluten free, but mentioning it for others), the fact that they make their own granola and use free range eggs. And the dining room was gorgeous and desk staff was so kind. I LOVED IT. I wanted to stay, but our onward journey was already booked.

Excellent hotel within walking distance of central rail station. Comfortable and spacious hotel room. Friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended.

Friendly welcoming staff, great breakfast and lovely clean rooms. Location is brilliant too and not far from the central train station, for easy access to Copenhagen Airport or further into Denmark. You have to request for your room to be cleaned, I think this is a brilliant idea and I wish every hotel operated this way. It’s better for the environment, easier for the housekeepers and gave me a feeling of privacy whilst staying at the hotel. You don’t typically change bedsheets in your home everyday , so why should hotel rooms be any different? I was a solo traveller and I managed perfectly fine with no housekeeping required for my 3 night stay. The breakfast contained many fresh and wholesome items; the porridge was outstanding. Just one tiny point, there were no decaf coffee sachets in my room. This would’ve been useful :) I will definitely stay at this great hotel next time I’m in Malmö and highly recommend to others. 10 out of 10!

The was a comfortable stay and the location is perfect for the shopping and browsing around a bit.

Nice hotel in a great location. Scandic has the perfect location on stortorget close to train station, the knotted gun, city hall, Södergatan, lilla torget, kungsparken, Malmö castle, etc. beakfast is great and staff is helpfull. Eco-friendly hotel avoiding unnecessary cleaning and change of sheets/towels. :)

My company booked 11 hotelrooms for our staff during our stay in Malmö. Since this is a Scandic hotell, we thought that the quality of the hotell and service would be good, but this was by far the worst experience we had. 1. The front desk staff couldn't recommend a safe parking spot for one of our cars 2. The front desk staff had non service mind when we checked in, they didn't even help with a trolley for all the bags instead they made jokes about "are you moving in" 3. The front desk staff turned of the reception phone, resulting in that non of us could call down to the receptions. When we asked them about this they said "ah we havn't noticed, but it's been quiet" 4. We didn't get the rooms that we booked, and called to ensure that we would get. When we told the front desk staff about this the negotiated this and started to talk about that don't know what kind of beds are in the different rooms. 5. We needed to exted the stay in one of the rooms, since the front desk staff had turned of the phone we had to walk down to say this. The front desk confirmed the extended stay, but then called to say that she didn't see that the hotel was fully booked and that the room needed to be checked out. Since being in a meeting in a different part of the city, this new information on the all ready confirmed extended stay was to say the least very inconvinient. Overall this hotell need to get new staff that know what custom service are, I will not recommend any to stay at this hotel

Bathtub in the bathroom and sauna in the basement helped me to relax my busy time in the conference.Review is talking about yesterday, that is not relevant for today and tomorrow. Ett trevligt hotell, fint läge, rena rum, god frukost - överallt positiv upplevelse förutom mycket oljud och musiken från uteserveringarna på torget. Ingen luftkonditionering. Stannade där i några vardagar i juli.

Probably the worst overnight I’ve had. I was in a wheelchair, so we were given a room direct to the road side. The night lift was unbelievably (extreme)load. Open air nightclub until 3.00 am in the morning. Then a local night club continued until 5.00am. On top of the the parking area and road was used as a race track. This hotel will never be on our recommendation list.

Easy business hotel. Good breakfast, clean rooms and central location.

The hotel pretty, breakfast is great, service is very friendly. There is coffee available the whole day, which is nice. There is a gym and a sauna in the hotel. I always pick this hotel in Malmö.

Reception friendly- shower powerful and warm! Bed cosy, cant complain at all! Great location too.

Poor service, I arrived and they simply asked for my name. They gave me room key and no other information such as wifi, breakfast times, or info about local area. On my second day I requested new towels and sheets as I had a nose bleed at night which the response was I will try. I will not stay here again and do not recommend it.

You cannot stay more central in Malmö. Cozy nice hotel. Breakfast was great (they even had oat milk). Price was awesome.

The perfect position for enjoying activities in Malmo. Excellent breakfast included and wonderful assistance from reception especially for storing bicycle.

It was a short stay, so i didnt have the opportunity to try all the different stuff that they offer. The receptionist was very polite upon our arrival and offered us take away breakfast when she found out that we were leaving before the breakfast was open. Great service, ordinary rooms and great location.

very small room directly over the service entry - garbage smell, very loud in the morning. AC was only working in the bathroom. Spiders crawling out of the light at night - disgusting. Breakfast was really good though, staff extremly helpful and friendly. I also apreciate the environmental friendly way of thinking!

Great location and value. Helpful reception staff. Lovely breakfast. I happened to have a room close to the pub area and the windows were not well insulated to filter noise well.
