Heat pump/air conditioning wasn't working so a small Living and Co heater was in tthe room. Very cold draft coming through the main door (had to use a towel to stop this) with very cold fans operating continuously in the bathroom and side room where fridge and closest was.

Wouldn’t recommend, overall poor experience, especially in regards to cleanliness… dirty ventilation, even worse for the sockets, and bugs in the bathroom….see photos

Stayed for 5 nights on a double room at 7th floor. Very convenient location, walking distance to nice restaurants and cafes, close to public transport, close to a public park and the room came with the Sky Tower view. I will be more than happy to stay here again in the future.

Staff made my sister feel extremely unsafe by giving her room keys to people that she specifically asked not to give to. Her name was booked under the stay therefore the staff had no right giving the key to anyone else but her! They weren’t understanding at all towards my sister with her requests as her bond money has been stolen for her all because the staff didn’t listen and understand to the requests she was asking from them. Terrible and very unprofessional staff. Would never recommend this place because of staff behaviour.

I like that they change the sheets less frequently which saves money . If it is your own sheets they dont need changing every day and I d rather save the money . 24 hour check in is also good.

This is a conveniently located hotel, that’s clean and comfortable at a very good price. The rooms are small and as a converted office building are sometimes awkwardly shaped but they have everything you need.

It is an acceptable place to stay in the city. We have had to wait outside the building as we checked in late. The staff on the front desk was on the phone, saw us but there was no mechanism for him to open the door. We have had to ask someone else who happened to be going in to let us in. Car parking is expensive but at least it is an option. Room was small but ok, relatively clean for its age. Tea coffee in the room but not filled everyday. Walls ware thin. Party in the next room went on till 2am, didn’t stop even when banging on the wall.

The lobby and the outside of the hotel are a bit dated but the room was really nice. The staff was friendly and the location was close to a lot of touristy places you could walk to. Only downside was the curtains smelled a bit so had to leave windows open for air so the smell didn’t stick.

The hotel had everything you needed for a stay in Auckland. The hotel was clean with many modern amenities. It is also located in a great location that is so close to many attractions (Sky Tower, the harbor and train station). What put this hotel over the top was the was the staff, especially the front desk employee (not sure of her name) that worked the evening shift. She was incredibly helpful and friendly.

Happy w everything apart from falling down steps just past main entrance on Sunday due to wet steps and i had hiking boots on. Receptionist was excellent but those wet steps are hazardous and my lower back continues to hurt today.

It's a nice place to stay. It's fairly central and well maintained. The room was clean with a newly remodeled bathroom. The front desk staff were professional, friendly, and helpful. My room had an attractive view.
However: The TV was attached to the wall at a very odd angle, so it wasn't really watchable. I couldn't get it to connect to the wifi, so although it was a smart tv, I couldn't access Netflix, YouTube, etc.
Also, the walls are very thin. I was woken by the alarm in the adjacent room, even though I'm sure it wasn't excessively loud. And I heard loud conversations from other rooms.

Checkin was good. Room however the bed and sheets were wet. It was late checkin so didn't need this as just wanted to sleep. as a traveller many nights a year in hotels and a gold Hotels. Com member. Reception was nice to rectify and move rooms but again 2nd room wasn't up to scratch from house keeping. Who ever the cleaner and superviser are, they failed on 2 rooms on this occasion. I'm staying 2 more nights and have requested a manager check the next room personally before checkin so I'm sure it will be as should as a nice hotel in Auckland. View over city was good with sky tower in view
