Great Hotel - New Remolded Rooms Friendly Helpful Staff

- Hotel in the center with friendly staff - large, nice and clean hotel rooms - plenty of space for suitcases - good and fresh breakfast buffet - would stay here again

The town of Husavík is beautiful and our room had a stunning view of the town, bay and mountains.

Like a conference centre - spacious but impersonal and not top notch facilities - eg no USB charging, very small sink, unimaginative breakfast

Booked this hotel as we had a whale watching tour and it was only a 4 min walk to the marina. There were also a lot of dining options at the marina. Checkin was easy. The only critique is that the bathroom was very small and the hallways to the rooms were stuffy.

Everything is perfect except parking. The hotel has no parking lots, good thing is that there are some parking spaces available around the hotel. Overall I like this hotel, food and services there are excellent!

A clean quality hotel located near the city center and close to the harbor. Ideal for those interested in whale safaris. The breakfast is good.

The hotel was very central with easy parking. Staff were friendly and efficient. The room was spacious and the shower was great. We asked for a twin room but were given a double room - twin rooms are only available in upgraded rooms, not economy rooms. The economy rooms are a bit old fashioned, I guess they have not been upgraded like other rooms yet. The mattress was okay but not the most comfortable. Staff did offer to find us a twin room the next night but we liked being at the front of the hotel with a super view so chose to stay where we were. We also thought we had booked breakfast when booking, we had not so needed to pay extra for this. Overall, it was a good stay.

The room was a bit dated- unlike the very modern lobby. Parking was free and plentiful. We were able to walk to dinner, the marina and to souvenir shops.

Perfect location.

The room looked exactly like the pictures when we booked. The location was also very good. However, the room was unbearably hot. So much so that we had to leave the hotel for several hours when we arrived because we couldn’t stand the heat of the room. The economy rooms face the sun and the windows are very tiny. We got there later in the day to check in and the sun must have been heating the room all day. The person working the front desk gave us a small fan that helped a bit but it was very loud and disrupted our sleep. I would NEVER stay in an economy room during the summer again. The room itself was fine but the heat was unbearable. The hotel management desperately need to do something to fix this situation.

I booked the economy room and when I walked in it was not the same as advertised! The wifi was not working, the best had chips and room looked like it was thrifted but in a bad old way. I went down to speak to the staff and they told me the hotel rooms were fully booked! I told them my room had no wifi not even one bar it was not working. They told me to restart my phone and check again, I did that and same issue. They ended up switching me to a new room with better wifi but the rooms were extremely hot! I asked for a fan they gave me a fan that was as little as my hand and it made the loudest noise! My partner and I couldn’t sleep due to the heat! Would definitely not stay here again!!

Very nice room and convenient to walk the one block to town.

This hotel was modern & fantastic with a bar & restaurant in the lobby. It was the perfect location in town, as we could walk everywhere from the hotel to shopping, restaurants, Geosea, & whale watching. The staff was also incredibly friendly. Husavik was our favorite stop on Ring Road & this hotel contributed to that.

Beautiful property in the most beautiful town, made us feel like Húsavík was OUR hometown. Special thanks to the staff who were kind and helpful.

Clean and in town, walkable to most spots. Way too much cigarette smoking at the front door area. Bar and restaurant staff not the friendliest, front desk staff was helpful.

Simply amazing. Wonderful stay.
