Theres is no sound proofing from the building site outisde. Also you can hear people on higher floors walking around and slamming doors, really hard to get a good night sleep.

Literal steps away from King's Cross St. Pancras. Cute little hotel for budget conscious travelers in perfect location for your trip to London. McDonald hotel is clean and cozy, you'll always have clean towels and coffee/tea supplies in your room. I booked accomodations with a shared bathroom, which turned out to be no issue, during my 4 night stay I not once had to wait to use the shower or toilet.
I will definitely be back!

How to build a hotels I've stayed in this area this hotel needs updating it is really old versioned and even the rooms are tired and old and there is no lifts or disability access for those reasons it should be much lower in price as it is not worth the price

Bed sheets clean and beds relatively comfortable. Location very good and not too noisy.
Room and whole hotel very basic and hasnt been decorated since 60s, maybe?!
Room tiny and very hot and stuffy. Ensuite aweful! Lots of mould and mildew, not clean at all. Shower head diagusting, yellow mould all over!
Cheapest in area we could find for 3, but still massively overpriced and wish I spent £75 more for premier Inn!

Noise from Underground trains and guest's using shared bathroom, kept us awake. No window curtains. Beds where hard.

A great little hotel only a few minutes walk from King’s Cross / St Pancras stations so it’s a great location for exploring London. Friendly and helpful staff, quiet location and a comfortable bed made my stay very enjoyable.

It was a good stay, clean and comfortable room. Only negative aspect was that the toilet was on the upper floor.

If you are looking for comfortable value, this is perfect. Very clean but small rooms — ideal for a solo traveler just looking for the basics. Very friendly front desk and easy walk from the Kings Cross tube.

Room was perfect for my 3 night stay. Even though the bath was shared, it was never an issue. Great for a comfortable place to sleep when visiting London with a heavy schedule. Convenient to tube and Kings Cross Stations; Not a lot of local convenience /food stores around - mostly found overpriced restaurants and overpriced Boots/M&S (b/c of Kings Cross - pricing is different in other areas)
Room was a bit noisy due to facing street and current construction.

Cheap and cheerful hotel in a great location a short walk from King's Cross/St Pancras Station. The perfect base for exploring central London. It was clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly. They were happy to let us leave our luggage both before checking in and after checking out. What more could you want? We'll be back the next time we're in town.

Reception staff was pleasant. Room was clean. Decor was dated but the beds were comfortable, we slept soundly. It was great value for money for a Saturday night in London. I would stay again for a night or two if we needed a budget stay.

This is an ideal place to stay in London on a budget, very close to King's X and St Pancras, offering nice rooms where everything is clean and everything works. The staff are friendly, they're happy to let you leave bags in the reception for pickup later. London is so expensive (prohibitively so for many people) and this hotel fills a need for quality, affordable accommodation. I'd definitely stay there again.

Close to King‘s Cross Station. Currently some construction works are ongoing outside starting early in the morning; cozy, but small room; can absolutely recommend for staying a few nights in London; the mandatory pre-payment was something i did not quite like.

Great location, clean, good wifi, helpful staff. I traveled alone and stayed in a single room with shared bathroom. No problem to use the shared toilet and shower. The manager Paul is very helpful and friendly. Would love to stay again.
