I read on Google a lot of bad reviews of this Htop Olympic. And honestly I don’t agree with any of the reviews. The pools are clean. The food is very good. There isn’t a very big variation but most days there are different options .Some of the plates and utensils and cups aren’t completely clean but that’s understandable because they use a dishwasher. The only number one thing I would highly advise everyone is that this is not a very up-to-date hotel. The rooms are not modern. The beds are not very ideal or comfortable. To have a twin size bed. No Smart Television, (Netflix or YouTube or capability for your phone). The bathrooms in the rooms are not to impress. And as many others have complained the walls are very thin you can hear clearly through the walls in the next room literally “everything”. Other than the rooms needing a modern overhaul update. I would say overall the Hotel is very good for the price. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner. Multiple Pools. Beach 4 blocks away. Gym. Large bar. Billiards table. Karoake nights. Several activity nights.

I had a 3 night stay at htop olympic and it was nothing short of amazing, the staff were friendly, the facilities were im very good condition and the dining experience was very coordinated and the food tasted delicious each time. The pool was cleaned every morning and the poolside was very neat. The oly downside was that I literally had to search for the domestic staff when my room needed cleaning. I would recommend this hotel in you are ever in Calella. I had very good value for my money.

Amazing staff

The food were not the best , most of it from days before, almost nothing was fresh, but is ok for the price we paid wasn’t bad. the beds in our room was terrible, bathroom was stinky and old, the hotel itself is wonderful with nice friendly staff, so in general it’s more than okay, but if you’re looking for luxury and better quality food you have to pay more, the most nice thing is at evening there was plenty of activities like salsa dance, yoga and multi cultural music.

Short walk to the beach, splendid and delicious buffet, but more than 1 hour train ride to Barcelona.

The hotel was clean but I felt during meal times there was a lack of staff for food delivery. I have never had to queue for breakfast, lunch and dinner before. The lack of staff meant sitting at dirty tables waiting for them to be cleared. The staff there were working extremely hard, but there needed to be more bodies

Very easy waking around . Family have the option shopping groceries is just in front of the hotel the supermarket . Lots of activities for kids . No far from the beach . Is basic hotel but the staff is very friendly and makes you feel very welcome

You get what you pay for. Its seems like a old hotel lots of room a reception that works.

Room was not as booked. The condition of the bathroom was disturbing. New room still not as booked, so we dicided to check out. Frontdesk staff didnt take the complaint as expected and showed no interest to solve the matter.

I liked the swimming pool and food was good not great missing sushi or more things,but the reception who made the check in was very serious and not friendly

Positive things: friendly staff, nice poolareas, nice lobby and bar Negative things, bathroom in really bad shape, crashed tiles very old and damaged walls and bathtub. Only 1 kind of cocktail included in all inclusive per day and it changes every day some were really good but 2 was really bad. To get the snacks that was included in all inclusive, you have 1 meter from the sunbed to the restaurant. But you are not aloud to enter that way so you have to run up the stairs into the hotel walk through the bar, lobby and down the stairs to get the snacks. It feels like they dont want you to enjoy it. Then the meals. The food is quite ok i would say below average of an all inclusive hotel, but there is a big managment problem!! For both breakfast,lunch and dinner there is only 1 person handling the grill wich means that the que for eggs and pancakes is 20-30 minute in the morning and up to 40 minutes for .meat in the evenings. 2 out of 4 nights we didnt get any tables in the restaurant so we skipped the all inclusive and went out to town for dinner. The restaurant is more simular to a school cafeteria than any restaurant. Really noisy, long ques everywhere and when you finally reach the things you want it was empty and you have to wait a long time for the new ones. It is not the staffs fault they were very friendly and serviceminded it is a management issue were they are understaffed

We had the best time, staff was brilliant, especially Tito on reception and the bar lads, food was very repetitive but something for everyone , entertainment a bit boring, but we still had the best holiday and we defo will return

Room was sold as refurbished but it was very out dated and dirty. I then asked for a refurbished room but didnt get one as none was available.

It was unclean & unpleasant , i stayed one night then relocated to another hotel

If you want to get some kind of pleasant experience from you hotel stay this is not a place to stay at. We strongly advice not to include meals if you stay here since it is not worth even the extremely low price of it. You feel like cattle coming for feeding in the barn when going to the huge dining room keeping 4- 500 people producing a steady tiring noice. The rooms were not as bad as the food but not any comfort either. Count on having people smoking on balconies close by so you cannot have "fresh" air into the room. The poorly working AC stopped working during the stay...

All Inclusive 4 night stay. Food very poor quality and always cold or at best warm. Long queues to get a table for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For the last three days we had all meals elsewhere. Furniture, and hotel very dated, unclean and in need of repair. Beds very poor quality and uncomfortable. All inclusive drinks served in plastic cups which always had previous teeth marks on the rim. If you are into extreme challenges then challenge yourself to enjoy a stay here. Otherwise AVOID this hotel at all costs.

Think groups of young lads, hen parties, families. If you are wanting a quiet, relaxing holiday I wouldn’t recommend it. The rooms are old, the bed is very very hard, the balcony does not have a sliding door it is a steel bar that you have to manhandle to open a small single door. Also you can hear everything, the next room coughing, the tv of someone else 5 rooms down, the cleaners turn up about 7am and you can hear them chatting up and down the corridors! Breakfast was literally like feeding the animals at the zoo. It was so busy, we walked around for 5 minutes to find a table and then when we went to choose food it was all looking very bad. I ended up with toast. They also had hotdogs for sausages for breakfast?? We are a couple who like new, quiet hotels and for an overnight stay it was fine... but no way would I of stayed there any longer. If you are going for a cheap holiday then great the price is great, but it you can afford to spend £100 more then there are plenty of hotels with better reviews.
