Very quiet hotel, only a few yards to the the Pacific Ocean and beautiful sunsets
All new furniture, Very modern bathroom. Comfortable bed, heated pool.
Coffee and hot chocolate in the office Dawn to midnight. Very friendly staff and a friendly smile at check in

The hotel has recently been completely renovated. Everything is new and technically updated, and done very nicely. The bed was comfortable. The hotel's neighborhood has many shops and restaurants and is located a 10 minute drive to downtown La Jolla.
There are several coffee shops nearby, but it would be nice to have a coffee maker in the room.

Our stay was off-season and the hotel was not full, but our room was clean, well laid-out and perfect for our quick get-away. The town was a bit sleepy and closed up early but that was just fine for us. I'd recommend this hotel - it was a great stay!

We definitely plan to return to this location. The room was clean and very comfortable. The service was great. Coffee, though not in each individual room, is available in the hotel lobby with an assortment of creamers. There is a microwave available, outside the room, in a shared common area. This location has easy walking access to the shore, shops, coffee, bakery, all within 2 to 3 blocks. The view to the West was great. We look forward to staying here again.

I was happy with the room, it was clean, the beds were soft and comfortable. The room did not have a coffee machine, I went to the office to get some coffee, but they did not open until 8 am. If early morning coffee is a must have you will need to drive or walk to a coffee shop. i would stay here again despite the coffee issue.

Only stayed one night. Checked in late and left early the next day. So I don't have much to say other than it was all good and I'd stay there again. Rooms are very clean, like other reviewers have said. There are a few smart devices in the room they emit light while sleeping, so if you prefer to sleep in a completely dark room, bring your eyeshades for sleeping.

I liked this place. Newly renovated, clean as a whistle. Spacious. Great location although parking is tight. Floors are a bit thin so you hear the people above you if they wear concrete shoes like the kids above us. Big refrigerator in the room and a great shower. Comfortable bed. Recommended

It is close to the Birdrock commercial area where we tried the highly regarded Wayfarer Bread, the Bird Rock Coffee Roaster shop, and an Italian restaurant. It was a quick drive to Harry’s for breakfast in La Jolla and discovered they have a parking lot behind the restaurant.
Parking at the hotel was plentiful and at no cost, such a plus in San Diego. The hotel was quiet, though quite full.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very spacious and nicely furnished. At the beginning it smelled a bit strange in the room, but was fine again after airing. The location is really great as the surroundings are simply beautiful. Would definitely come again :)
