old room, needs updating and things fixed

The front office was very friendly upon check in. We reserved the room with fireplace but there was no firewood. The place was okay clean. The pillows and mattress were plastic and, therfore terribly uncomfortable. I will not stay again.

The bed sheets were not changed and had hair on them, but when we complained, they immediately provided us with clean ones.

Check in was easy, the lady at the front desk was very friendly. The condo was clean and neat. The mattress was a little lumpy but overall it was a good place to stay, especially for the money.

Great stay, amazing area. I would have liked a little more cleanliness in the room itself. When we pulled a nightstand over to look for an outlet, it was very apparent time was not taken to move furniture when vacuuming after stays. Afterward it was hard to trust the cleanliness of other things in the room. But we overall enjoyed the stay, staff and area were all amazing!

Bri, the property receptionist, was friendly, available, and accommodating when we needed to change rooms. The property needs deep cleaning, remodeling & renovation in rooms. The rooms had no working heater; only portable heating and fireplace. The kitchenettes have all supplies, but not working stove or oven; only microwave. We were 6 guests; the sleeping conditions were poor. The furniture was not acceptable and not accommodating. We had to purchase an air mattress. The property has handicap parking, but the property or rooms are not handicap accessible. We will not return to this property!

Everything we needed for our stay. Easy check in and out. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would stay here again.

I would recommend clean and close to the many attractions

The staff were helpful and friendly. I rented the 2 bedroom suite which was very spacious. There was 2 queen beds in one room and a king bed in the master bedroom. There was a pull out couch and an extra twin bed that was stored in the closet if needed. The kitchen was large and fully loaded with pots and pans. The apartment was a little outdated but very cozy. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay here again.

The room we reserved was not available and we were placed in a room of lesser value. The accommodations were poor quality to say the very least. We were disappointed in the quality of the bed (rock hard) and the sofa (extremely broken down).

Good place and well located

We had a blast! After reading comments I was expecting something very outdated but it was nothing like that. They provide pots and pans and dishes for you to cook, 2 heaters and a pull out couch as well. It was very nice and cozy. We were all comfortable and not one bad thing to say. The girls in the front were also very nice. On our next trip to Ruidoso we plan to stay there again . Only suggestion for the Summer would be to please fix the ice machine outside .

What a great place to stay!

When looking for a place, i read some bad reviews on this place and some good ones. Took my chances and booked a riom for the weekend. Best chance i took. The room was amazing, had everything we needed in it and extras. The lady at check in was very polite and helpful in letting us know what to do while on our stay. I would definitely book again.

The smell was overwhelming! Had no WiFi unless you stood at front door. Cobwebs from ceiling and dead roaches in kitchen. Fortunately we were at the cabin very little. Called front desk multiple times but didn’t get assistance until the last night. That’s when she told us to stand at the front door and we could get signal.

For a weekend getway, its ok. Its dated, but they tried to make it nice. Loose tiles on the floor, a few spiders, some blood on the wall, but over it was just ok. If all your gonna do is basically shower and sleep and the rest of the time out on the town....it will do.

Unit was not clean. Unit has beds for up to 6 people but only 2 forks, 2 spoons and 1 coffee cup..... Staff was pleasent.

The lodge had nice desk workers but was extremely run down. Piecemealed together. Dirty rooms and not very well stocked as far as amenities in kitchen or bathrooms. Relatives had ants in their rooms. We made the most of our stay though and enjoyed being with family. Will choose a different location for lodging in the future!

The room was clean but very out dated.

The lady at the front desk was friendly and nice. The AC kept things cool but that was probably more to do with the cool weather than with how well it worked. Now for the really bad stuff. The Windows blinds cannot be adjusted and were falling apart. There were 2 window AC units in my room. One had a missing dial so if you wanted to turn it off you had to unplug it. There were tiny little black spiders in several places. I was here a few days and found them all throughout my stay. They will crawl on you! Hair from previous occupants was clearly visible in the bathroom. Especially on the toilet plunger behind the toilet. You are provided with a coffee maker but NO coffee filters or coffee! Wifi only works about 10% of the time. I had to use my phone as a hotspot most of the time. TV channels higher than about channel 66 have very poor reception. So bad they were completely unwatchable. Only one remote worked in my room. Luckily it worked on both TVs. The spout for the tub was very loose. Whenever I would pull up the lever to take a shower it would easily lift up. There was no little hanging bar that you could use to put the toilet paper on. There were several more things that were broken or missing in this place. The owner clearly only cares about the money coming in. But, that will catch up to them once everything is completely broken and people stop staying at this place. I will not be staying here again. The owners should be embarrassed by this place.

Great condo for the money. Friendly front desk. Lots more room than a motel and good kitchen too.

The place was great other than 2 issues. 1. Our room had a strong odor of animal urine. A bottle of Febreeze was a huge help there. This being a pet-friendly lodge odor is to be expected, but it was a clear sign that carpeting was a bad choice. 2. The mattress and pillows were covered with plastic protectors that made them uncomfortable. There are better options on the market these days.

This property was very nice. Rooms were updated and modern. Very clean. Quiet. Definitely will return.

The condo was not clean inside. And when I opened the refrigerator, it smelled awful.

This place suffers from a lack of maintenance. Neither TV would work, and front desk never returned our call about it. Wash rags so thin they had holes, smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector found in kitchen drawer, hot tube out of service and noisy at night.

Good place to stay, close to everything. Kitchen is a plus.
