Horrible homeless all over not safe for children

Need to stay overnight near Sarasota with our small dog. Place was fine for the price. No frills, clean and relatively quiet for a Saturday night. I want a clean room, a shower and nothing else. People were friendly.

I like the person that check me in. Very pleased with his help. Room is very nice and we are right by the pool. Looking forward to a good night sleep. Thank you

Miss Patel, very friendly and accommodating at the front desk. Check in was easy and quick and the room was clean, comfortable and the AC was on upon my arrival. Highly recommend.

One of the few Motel 6 that has been remodeled nicely and not "jimmy rigged" or substandard remodeling. Appeared clean floors, shower, etc. TV worked for a change. Unfortunately, no continental breakfast. Good part of town, close to beach, restaurants nearby. Only thing I did not like is they wait until after 11 a.m. to reimburse the $50 security deposit.

Great hotel, clean, bed was comfortable, pool was clean and well kept. My only complaint was that there was no hot water for a shower. I told the front desk clerk. His only reply was that he would look into it and asked if i let the water run for a bit. I told him i did and that my companion also took a very cold shower. He wrote it down. Should have offered me some kind of discount.

Keep an eye on your children at all times, seems as though a lot of older men live on the property are pedos. A lot of suspicious activity goes on at night time.

Room not cleaned by 2 day stay, very loud

construction going on next door. was there 4 nights and cleaning people only came the first night and never came back. my trip was to visit a sick family member in the hospital so i left the room early and came back late to sleep. front desk told me to tell the cleaning people but no one is there at night, wasnt happy that i had to tell them to clean the room and provide fresh towels, and there was no sign regarding saving the environment and housecleaning was min. night manager just shrugged his shoulder.

Bad experience

Pretty pricey for what you get. Coffe only in the lobby in am. Have to request a hair dryer - if theyre not all being used. Tiny, thin bath towels. No tissues. Reasonably clean. Only two pillows on the queen bed for two.

Was a good spot.. Just had people next door being loud. Must stay there permanently.

Rooms were being remodeled so there was hammering and construction noise that was disturbing. and lots of construction debris stacked up on one side of the building.

Finally back home to fiancé and dog after 7 months away while father undergoing chemo treatments. Arrived after 11pm after an hour and a half Uber ride from airport. I pulled something on hand bringing bags in. Being sure to take ring off finger, I waited patiently while clerk checked in the guests in front of me. Immediately, I noticed the clerk being rude with customers and impatient with computer. A man came out to help at desk and she snapped at him telling him to leave instead of letting me check in while I watched my finger swell up. Ten-fifteen minutes later I am checked in, again clerk rude for no reason. Next morning, I burned my other hand on coffee and dropped cup on floor and used a towel to wipe up. Called hotel three times about $50 deposit and finally was able to talk to someone. Told my $50 deposit was kept for towels. Sprained finger, burnt hand, the service double thumbs down!

Nothing bad to say about hotel except the beds were very hard and uncomfortable and rooms were very tiny for the double bed room.
