I was there for business, but brought my two quiet teenage girls. It was assummed that we would be noisy, so got placed across from the ice machine room. It was noisy. The pool and tub were dirty(full of foam and...). Parking was not included.

Stayed here for 2 nights on a tour of BC. Hotel and staff are great. My only criticsm is that our sleep was disrupted twice in the night due to loud noises.

Untrained staff at check-in, poor customer service and lazy valet, worse part was the loud construction across from the hotel - not mentioned on the website.
M lounge is low quality for MARRIOTT served only scrambled eggs 5 consecutive mornings (including Saturday) and did not wipe off all tables. Location is central however behind the Empress hotel.

I can’t believe that they charge 33.60 for parking every time you leave. You are already paying over 300 dollars a night to stay there. I will never stay there again

The hotel was very well located, so convenient to the inner harbour, shopping and restaurants! The best part about our stay was the excellent service provided by the staff! We were kind of high maintenance guests and the staff was very accommodating, friendly and professional!

Two issues for me. No outlet for charging on the right side of the bed. Only on the left. My husband had to drag the plug for his CPAP across the mattress to my side of the bed. The HVAC was super noisy and the filter needed cleaning. Super disappointing

Very conveniently located near the inner harbor. We had a skewed view of the back side of the Empress Hotel, which was nice. It was a very nice, well decorated, room, with nice features and amenities.
