Perhaps one of the best locations in Mackay? Our spacious two bedroom apartment had gorgeous ocean views, and absolute beach access. Easy access to the city also.

Curtains are dirty,shower had mould.the unit had a bad smell.

Love the beach atmosphere. Close to amenities. Cost for accomodation was cheap. Staff hospitality was excellent throughout our stay. Will recommend to come back again.

Belinda was amazing and couldnt help us any more. Excellent customer service skills. Room had amazing ocean views and a couple of steps onto the beach. Room was clean and well presented. Great location, close to airport and CBD as well as a couple of steps onto the beach.

Very nice location with a nice Ocean view. Unit was simple but it had a stocked kitchen and great shower. WIFI was excellent and totally free. Pool was refreshing.

Yes it is an older resort... but great... quiet. near to beach... sat and watched tide come in two mornings.. out of 2... Great... fishermen going about their business.... great in the morning sun... that sea breeze in the afternoon is something to die for... only wish could be bottled and taken home to the out west area.. definitely on the RETURN TO list... .thanks Illawong... see y ou again soon OH yes... loved the pet goanna... which hides under pathway... woohoo...

Absolutely fabulous wish we had more time there & if ever up there again would definitely stay there but plan to stay longer

Great location. Hot water system failure necessitated a unit change mid stay, but staff were very helpful and upgraded us, which was appreciated. Overall, some building maintenance issues exist. Grounds very well kept.

Considering the weather wasn't the greatest, our family enjoyed our stay here. The staff were fantastic especially when our refrigerator was faulty, they organised another one for us within 10 minutes. Even the possums were friendly

The staff were very friendly & helpful. A villa right on the beach was perfect for the kids to run around. The pool was lovely & our favourite spot during our stay! The beds were comfy & aircon worked great. I agree the place is a bit dated, but you can see the staff are working hard to bring it up to standard after their recent takeover. We would definately stay here again

Our stay was a comfortable one. The beds were great and the room was clean but it could do with some updating. There was a lot of mozzies so I highly recommend taking mozzie spray. The service from the staff was great.

The lovely couple that run the resort are so helpful and friendly, the view is wonderful from our villa, beautiful atmosphere, well maintained and love the pool.. The whole stay has been fantastic and would definately stay here again...
