Seems like the hotel is undergoing some renovations. There were piles of laminate flooring boxes near the back entrance door and near the spa. The pool has a maximum depth of 3 feet 6 inches so not really suitable for swimming. The hot tub was not very hot but still enough to enjoy a soaking. The rooms and facilities were very clean. The free breakfast had enough options to make a full meal. All in all a very nice hotel.

The check-in and check out process was quick and efficient. The front desk gals were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable.

We are checking hotels near Chanhassen dinner theater as our daughter is getting married June 2025. Loved the hot water showers!! Our view sucked...brick wall. I plan on a block of 20-25 rooms for family snd friends. But your breakfast area is way to small. 5 tables and all full We took ours back to our room. Staff was very pleasant.

One problem resulted with me hand screwing down the toilet seat

The property was beautiful, the room for the breakfast was neat, very organized and well stocked, prepared nice. but the inconvenience of not having the pool or access to the ice machine on the floor was not good. I understand updates to the property need to be done, but having the bags of stuff, ladders, tools piled up where it is seen by the guests, was a bit much. Also, the ceiling in our bathroom needed attention.

Would have been nice if they would have told us the pool and hottub were being renovated.

Stayed 2 nights on bike trip (2nd was a rain day). Very bike friendly area. Adjoins a small natural preserve. Staff were very accommodating. Great breakfast.

The beds were comfortable. My wife thought the air conditioner was noisy. The TV was not easy to use. There was no on-screen guide to channels and programs, and the printed list of station was incorrect on several stations. There was no rhyme or reason to the order that the stations were in when searching up or down the channels.

Never fails, they have the most comfortable beds and bedding of any place we've ever stayed!! Only wish the pool wasn't under construction, we were not told of this ahead of time unfortunately.

I booked an executive king bed room. I was an hour early to check in and it wasn’t ready, I shared that I wouldn’t be back until 10pm and could I get the details done now (card, etc) and I couldn’t. When I came back at 10, I was checked in and went to my room (226) and there was carpenter materials all over the hallway and the 2 rooms next to mine were open. Having the rooms opened with all the material in hallway felt awkward and intimidating, especially as a solo traveler. The next morning, the workers showed up, with their music to begin on the rooms, assuringly continuing from the day before. I shared with the front desk, who said, oh, I’m sorry. It was very uncomfortable, dirty, messy and felt awkward to have rooms next to you open and in disarray. I wish they had shared with me before sending me to the room or if available, offer me a different room. I’ve stayed here prior without any issue, but this was very uncomfortable with no concern by the front.

The hotel was under construction; we were placed in a handicapped room, which didn’t bother me but the bathroom floor looked like it was just put in and not all the way done. There was tape holding carpet molding together, and it just didn’t look great. There was no mention of the pool being closed when we checked in either.

Our 3 day stay was very good. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. Quiet place. The heating/cooling unit was very loud and made it impossible for me to sleep. We just shut it off. The hotel is isolated with a lot of open land surrounding it. The front desk staff were very friendly. I reported an electrical outlet that didn’t work and the staff wrote that down. There was always lemon or cucumber water and apples in the lobby. We didn’t take advantage of the complimentary breakfast. I really liked the hotel but won’t return due to the noisy heating/cooling unit.

The hotel looked old, especially the bathroom tile and fixtures. There were also unpleasant odors in the room and hallway. Although a pool is advertised, it was under construction and this also caused an unpleasant scent of chemical sealants.

Since we booked through a third party site, we had no idea the hotel was under renovation or that the pool was closed. This was a big disappointment for our kids. While I understand the renovation process is messy, there was random trash around the hallways and stairways, and our room wasn't in great shape. We stayed here a few years ago and was very impressed then...this was a very different story, and I'm bummed we still paid normal price for that less than stellar stay.

Clean and comfortable. Quiet. Rooms that haven't been remodeled are a little run down but clean.

We thought since our normal hotel in Shakopee was booked we'd stick with the Holiday Inn. This one is NOTHING like the wonderful one in Shakopee. There was uncleaned urine on the bathroom wall. There was loud construction and the pool was closed. Not much for choices in the fitness room and the lady at the front desk was rude

Great condition and clean

When i booked my room i was unaware the hotels pool was under construction. Then when i checked in I again was not told the pool was under construction. So when i went to check out the pool I was not happy to see it not working. When i went to address this with management they said it was posted on the website. Well not everyone books thru the website like me so i had no idea. I explained that and wanted my money back. He then told me they had a contracted with anytime fitness pool across town. I said that is not convient as it is winter. I am not happy with this holiday inn which is privately owned and will never be returning.
