Good hotel for the price.

Very handy for everything Calella - lovely hotel smaller than the others nearby but this suits us. Very helpful

Location of the hotel was ideal (everything is walking distance, close to restaurants and a small beach opposite the hotel if you don't care to walk 10mins in either direction for a larger one), staff are very helpful and friendly (plus they have a bit of English which helps!) and the room is clean and well presented. Would definitely come back

Absolutely fab service, they accommodate all my requests. I came here for a sporting event and the hotel arranged for an early breakfast for us. Good food. Rooms were spacious and clean.

We spend 4 nights at the Les Palmeres and had a great time. The room was clean, the breakfast was very good and the staff members were very polite and friendly. We realy liked it to stay close to the beach. I would recommend the hotel to friends.

The hotel is located in a tourist area filled mostly with younger people that partied until early mornings. On my checking out at 5:00am, I saw groups of young people still walking and talking loudly on the streets. If youre going there to relax, choose another town. Not the hotels fault however.

Hotel was excellent. Beside a very clean beach. Railway station fifteen mins. walk. Also close to shopping area. Stayed for six days. Would recommend without hesitation.

Overall, the hotel was OK. We stayed 2 nights. Maybe it was just bad luck, but we were without hot water the first day and without Wi-Fi for half a day the second day. The big trouble was getting a taxi the first night when it was raining hard. The hotel clerk had reserved a taxi for us at 20:40. It never came. The employee called the taxi company back many times, each time getting a promise that a cab would come within minutes. ONE HOUR later, he finally looked for another cab company and got us a taxi. I think the hotel should consider doing business with many cab companies. It was unacceptable that one had to wait for an hour for a cab at a 4-star hotel. One last irritation: the hotel had a room safe, but one had to rent it for 5 euros a day.

Good clean rooms, good service and good location near the beach

have used hotel twice when going to moto gp ii Barcelona. nice and convenient , best standard in area and good access to beach , motorway and local nightlife.

A good quality hotel, more suited to adults than children. Very conveniently situated, good food, ideal for a peaceful holiday.

Front desk people were the best part of the hotel, they were helpful and friendly. The room was hot and opening the windows was not an option due to the noise level outside. Our room faced another hotel that was loud all night. 

Walls like paper. Beds made of rock. View of another hotel. No hotel parking. Soul less.

It was a good hotel but the second hotel the Top planer Malgrat de Mar was a bitter experence as on arrivel the hotel recipion behever made us so down that my girl friend go back to Germany.Overall they have typically Spanish bussness behaverquintity not the quility.Any how thanks for you people nice assistent.

Our stay was very pleasurable however I feel there is definitely room for improvement with the service and quality of food the restaurant has to offer. We stayed on a B&B basis, and like most we all enjoy a good nutritious breakfast to set us up for the day, but it was very disappointing. Fried eggs were offered twice out of seven days, then what appeared to be scrambled eggs, was actually powdered egg, which was unpalatable. Without a doubt Hotel 4* standard, restaurant 2*.

This was my fifth visit to this hotel & have enjoyed my stay every time, I have been with my family & friends & everyone has had a good time. The staff & management the tops. The hotel is clean, the service is very good & a good selection of food in the restaurant. Keep up the good work & hope to go back to Hotel Les Palmeres soon.

Hotel is smalll and overshadowed by surrounding buildings,very good at the hieght of summer but not in cool weather.Bar did not open untill 1600hrs , which seemed odd?Car parking chaotic unless you are happy to pay 10 Euros /day.Overall a good ,central ,value for money choice.

Staff were excellent, friendly, helpful and understood English if could not speak it! Food was generous, varied and well presented. Only criticism, which was beyond the control of the hotel,was that it was abit noisey in the early hours some nights due to youngsters in the street below. Barcelona was extra special.Calella beach was very near but a bit steep at shoreline for young children.

Hotel was certainly not a 4 star hotel. It looks very old, not renovated. Rooms are ok, quite big. Breakfast was ok. Another problem is that you have to give a caution on everything !! That's scandalous. Pay and give a caution for the fridge (!), give a caution to park your car in the parking (!)... Nothing to see in this hotel, walk away ! Not so well located near the beach but old neighborhood.

Stayed for four nights and everything about the place was excellent.A big plus ,I feel,was the fact that it's a relatively small hotel, therefore the service was better and overall noise levels as such were much less than other 4* hotels in the vicinity. About 100 metres or so to the beach and 10-15 min walk to the railway station if you want to get on a train to Barcelona means if we go to Calella again we will be staying at Les Palmeres.Food was excellent too, and in mid-October the dining room was never too busy.

My 18 year old daughter and I have just returned from a great week spent at Las Palmeres. Reviews had left me with mixed opinions but definately a good choice and value for money. Location was great, 5 minute walk to the beach and town centre. Train station further about 10 minute taxi drive but good service to Barcelona and very cheap. All hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful nothing was too much trouble. Full breakfast and evening meal were included and there was always plenty of choice. The roof terraces were brilliant and often we had them to ourselves, enjoying peace and quiet and jacuzi. We made use of the sauna, again had it to ourselves for 1 hour for few euros. Only 1 niggle; safe was installed in room but you had to pay approx 15 pounds to use, but better to be safe than sorry with personal effects. Definatley a great place to stay and would visit again and highly recommend.

My daughter and I were in Spain to visit Barcelona on a five day trip in late October We decided to stay outwith the city and chose Calella, due to its proximity to Girona Airport. The Les Palmeres hotel is excellent value for money as breakfast and dinner were included. Food was ok and service in restaurant good. Hotel was exceptionally clean. The leisure complex was small but it did have a large plunge pool. I had a massage and the lady who administered it was just excellent - highly recommend this person. Train journey to Barcelona takes 1 hour but the journey seems short due to the beautiful coastline all the way to Barcelona - stunning. Train service every ten min approx., and inexpensive. All in all a very good experience.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. The roof terrace was fantastic.
