Had a nice stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. Great staff & modern room. Only drawbacks are they are currently building another Hilton hotel next door and the construction will be happening until the end of 2025. Staff was very nice and checked in via text several times to ensure all was good. Will say the lighting in the room was lacking.

Terrible, dismissive staff. Loud construction. Front door blocked as we checked out, my elderly mother had to walk twice as far to exit building.

For the most part it was fine except for my sleep. The air conditioning unit was very loud making a loud sound while it ran. Woke me up every time it kicked on. I got very little sleep.

Checking in one lady didn't want to help us.The one that did didn't tell us anything about if you had breakfast, if there was a pool...nothing about the hotel. Everytime we sit on the bed it makes a loud drum sound, walls are so thin we can hear what the neighbors are saying.

The concert crowd outside was loud. The parking was packed due to concert and almost didn't have parking for hotel guests. Im not sure a stay in Dubuque, IA should vost over $300/ night.

My husband and I were in town for a concert and I booked a king bed room. We got up to our 3rd floor room to be completely disappointed in our view of a wall out our window, dirty tissues between our bed and wall. And the sofa chair was sooo dirty. The thing that really upset me was having a door into the next room that conjoined them. I was not expecting that and felt it invaded my privacy. I wish I would have known that beforehand. The best thing about this hotel was having on site restaurants and bars which was convenient so we didn't have to leave. Let's say we won't be back.

We stayed 2 nights...we were awakened by housekeeping the 1st nite and awakened the 2nd morning by the lawnmower...our 1st nite was a $50 2 queen bed stay on the 3rd floor after requesting 1 King...then we move the 2nd nite to a $240 king room on the 1st floor......no difference in the rooms except the 2 queen beds/1 king bed and the price...construction was being done on site as a new hotel is being built....

Great location near the river and near downtown. The casino connection was a plus and a bonus for something to do in walking distance. Houlihan's was next door and highly rated food in the area

Nice hotel, room was big and clean. Good location to places to see and good service. Food was typical hotel food, nothing special and I thought the room was a bit pricey for a deluxe suite.

We should up at 4:37 with a 3pm check in. We had to wait 5-10 behind only two parties and then another 10-15 minutes for our room. The checkout was another 10 minute wait behind parties. I asked for a room receipt and got my breakfast bill. I left because didn’t have time to wait.

Everything was good and we had a comfortable stay but the indoor pool was a bit cold. We were looking forward to the pool but it was too cold for me to get it. The hot tub was very nice and spacious though!

It was good, except front desk person told me only 3rd floor available for some reason (didn't ask for a specific floor) and then 1 min later I heard her say to next person that they could choose between all 3 floors. What was that about? Came off as rude to me for no reason.

The property is located right off the freeway exit, so it was convenient for a one night stay, and right back onto the freeway the next morning for continuing on to our next destination.

Not impressed with this hotel. Front desk attendant was not friendly but not mean. Just seemed like she had better things to do than help me. We got there 1/2 hour early so weren't able to check in yet but didn't check to see if we could. I had to ask if we could go over to the casino next door as she didn't offer the info. When I did check in, had to ask about WIFI and was told unless i was a premium member, I may be charged for WIFI. Stayed for two days. Not impressed with Hilton at all.
