An historic building with a lovely courtyard and very good proximity to the Zocalo, it was delightful to stay here! However it's historic nature means that many rooms have only window into the courtyard. If natural light is not a priority, the rooms are a good size, with very tall ceilings and quite comfortable with the ceiling fans on. One issue, perhaps common in Centro of Oaxaca was the water pressure. There were times of the day when flushing the toilet or taking a shower was a problem. The small restaurant has excellent food at very reasonable prices. However, all in all, I am happy we stayed there for 7 nights!

A lovely place to be in a fabulous historic building that has been simply & charmingly styled. Breakfast is as you like it & excellent. The people who work here are kind & courteous. The management will go beyond to make one's stay the very best that can be!!!

Quaint building & architecture. Lovely place with full cafe on property — right in the heart of central Oaxaca. Staff is friendly, warm & accommodating.

Old hotel, not well updated but OK. The real issue is the price does not match the amenities. This hotel in Puebla or Queretar would be at least 1/3 less. The pictures mis lead on the amenities and the quality of the esthetics of the hotel. But it is very convenient to Zocalo. Not related to the Hotel, more Oaxaca, it seems overpriced in general hotels and Food) compared to rest of Mexico and lost some of it magic over the last few years. Unless the control costs OR spruce up the city and hotels, it is going to lose the attraction it once had.

Staff is very helpful and honest and the place is wonderful. The coffee is excellent!

The hotel is very pleasant. It located in downtown walking distance to shops, markets,etc The staff is very attentive. I would definitely recommend this place

I have stayed here on a number of occasions, for weeks at a time for work, and over all a lovely stay. Great helpful and friendly staff, comfortable rooms in a historic building, good breakfasts, and centrally located right off main zocalo and close to the main pedestrian area.

Very good location, but its very noisy and not the best service overall

We loved this little paradise. Close to everything we wanted. David at the front desk was always ready to answer a question and patiently tolerated our Spanish. Margarita did a great job keeping our room fresh while offering a kind smile even while masked her eyes emitted a warm welcome.

Lovely people! Very helpful and kind when we arrived tired and cranky after the 7-hour drive from the coast.

The location is perfect. Realy close to the Zocalo. Close to atm machines, restaurants, the market.

Beautiful place, I never thought that Oaxaca had place like this. The place is very clean, very centric, very polite and nice staff I would definitely stay again in this place.

Great service from everyone in the Hotel! Loved the location in the middle of Historic Central Area.. everything at a walking distance. I would definitely stay at same Hotel!

We love staying at old historic properties and this one was a gem of place. The staff is great and helpful and the rooms were very spacious and the beds comfortable. The only drawback do not book a street view room. Great street view but noise all night long with cars passing and after hours party goers yelling and having too much fun.

This is a lovely hotel in a superb location and every member of the staff goes out of his or her way to be helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and will highly recommend it to friends traveling to Oaxaca. I hope to return soon.

Great location near Zocolo, but still quiet. Very nice staff. Downstairs room had a little noise from breakfast set up around 8am but not bad. Overall pleasant stay

It’s a great place to stay at. Two blocks from the cathedral, the market, shops and restaurants. Staffs were amazing, the breakfast was also great, good size room and bathroom.

This has been my favorite hotel that I have stayed at in all of Mexico. I’m on a 6 week trip through Mexico and this has been the best out of all the places I have stayed. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The location is ideal. The rooms are clean and modern. The beds are large and comfortable. I will definitely be staying in this hotel anytime I come to Oaxaca.

Property is in El Centro, near to markets and city center.

The courtyard next to room. People were loud after 10 pm. Made it difficult in room to sleep before noise died off.

Estuvo muy bien el hotel. El precio y locación me encantaron. Lo único que no me gusto fueron los chilaquiles que comí en el desayuno que venía incluido el chocolate es delicioso y la fruta también lo recomiendo.
