Cute place. Stayed one night and staff was super nice!

There was dirty tissues visible under the bed. The room was extremely run down. Cute 30 years ago. Check in was accommodating to our after hours needs.

The room was clean but the PineSol smell was overwhelming making me feel nauseous. The floor in the bathroom needs to be replaced as it’s so old it has started to delaminate causing it to be extremely sticky and our feet and shoes were sticking to the floor.

The evening staff was outstanding 👏 👌

Cute little place, friendly staff. Breakfast was just ok. My only complaint our room smelled so heavily of bleach, I had to get a wet rag and wipe everything down, and open windows. It was bad enough to give me a headache.

We booked a suite and we were very disappointed to discover how old it was and not clean. We mentioned it at the checkout and we were ignored. I will not return.

Sidt like that it qas beside the main road, but tbh it wasnt an issue for noise as we were in the rooms on the backside.

Great service, couple of minor things could have been better, AC didn't do a great job of keeping the room cold, and the shower head was both quite short, and lacked flow. Cute hotel overall.

The customer service was excellent. Staff were friend and helpful. The room was clean but the cleaning supplies used made the floors super sticky. The furniture was dated and beat up. The property was dated and not worth the cost we paid.

Quite budget. The continental breakfast needs improvement. When I asked if the bagels were fresh, she said “yes, I put them out yesterday”. Also, there were individually wrapped in plastic, which bothers me because of the environmental impact… It would be better to have fresh bagels put out daily into a Cabinet Instead of using so much plastic wrap. There are weird cheesy Christmas pictures hanging up in the lobby of kids in Dutch Halloween costumes. Pretty cheesy Hotel, but it was quiet and a fine place to sleep but overpriced for what it was. Maybe it’s high season??… But we paid over US$180 USD per night and it should’ve been A LOT cheaper.

Cabin was cute but tight. Small shower. Cute atmosphere though.

The attendant offered me a room on the bottom floor that cost more than the other bottom floor rooms and told me that was the only bottom floor room left. I went out at 10 at night and there were 3 bottom floor rooms empty. I don’t like when people lie to me for profit.

The property is dated by any standard but it’s clean and dry and the staff/owners are super friendly. It’s a fun, quirky place with a personality.

Booked a cabin for privacy. Small, as expected. But not clean. Floor and carpet were especially dirty. Bathroom smelled damp. But air-con was welcome. Sheets and towels were clean and smelled fresh. Room just needed some extra attention to detail in the housekeeping department.

This is a really cute place that was very clean. Comfy beds. It was pretty dated and had minimal, accessible electric outlets. The continental breakfast was decent.

Great stay and friendly staff.

It’s an older property, so expectations were not that I’d get some modern new spotless place. That said the carpet was old and had so many stains, if you’re a bit of a germaphobe it might give you the hibbie jibbies. Same with bathroom floor it was sticky. Maybe cuz it wasn’t actual tile. The good was, price, location, safety, and the employees I interacted with were very nice. If you just need a place to sleep while adventuring out and around, it definitely serves its purposes.

Dirty. I found soda bottles and candy wrappers in the room and behind furniture. Bed was so old shaky, squeaky and the mattress was bad, so bad. Hwy 20 is 100 feet from the room Noisy, The toilet paper dispenser is the kind you would use in a public bathroom in the 80s, so it was hard to pull TP. The shower was a joke. Hot, cold, hot, cold And parking sucked. The spaces out back were so close together my vehicle has 6 scratches and chips in it. The view out back is a busy gravel lot with trucks and car traffic in and out with the noise. No information of any kind in the room The microwave wa=use to be in a convenient store before it was here. I will not stay there again

This little historical gem was comfortable and cute. The Bavarian/dutch theme is unique and falls in line with the community. If you plan on just having a place to rest your head, this is a great place. Not a lot of extras but we enjoyed our stay overall.

This is a nice location and a friendly staff. This appears to be locally operated by a dedicated group. The exterior of the hotel is in good condition. The hotel rooms need some updating. New carpets and some bathroom remodeling. Some hooks for hanging towels after you shower would be helpful. The place is an average hotel which the price reflects. The owner should put some funding towards interior renovations or the hotel quality will continue to slide. I would probably try other locations before staying here again. NOTE the cabins are VERY small. The photos on the Hotels.com website are misleading and should be removed.
