This hotel could use a major upgrade, general repairs and a better cleaning staff. But otherwise safe, convenient and quiet.

Non-smoking room that reaked of smoking. Noise all night. Sounded like equipment running.should not advertise breakfast with just coffee and muffins.

Sheets had holes and were not pressed. Strange evening clerk with strong political views. Emergency exit door was permanently locked, Hall and stair carpets were dirty.

Heavy wood furniture gave the hotel a cozy feel. No elevator but one flight of wide stairs weren’t bad.

Staff was always there when you need them

It was clean and comfortable. I did see a homeless person sleeping in the bushes.

For almost $200 for a 1 night stay the place needs to be cleaned up a lot. Very dirty, smelled old and dirty. Staff was not very friendly. I have stayed at a couple of hotels in the area and this was by far the most run down place and should have been more like $69 per night.

Always stay at the acorn when I come to Whidbey, affordable, clean, awesome staff!

Not the best and not the worst. Economical and room was spacious and beds good. Check in experience was officious, room could have done with a good window clean. Nice area with shops and restaurants nearby ie within walking distance.

Clean, comfortable, no frills place to stay while we were in town. Service was friendly, room was clean, beds were very comfortable! We would stay again!

All and all it was clean and put together nice I’m not used to having to ask for a hair dryer thought that was pretty standard, but they delivered it when asked. Vacuuming could have been more through ( this is coming from a former cleaning lady.)

An affordable place where the bed sheets are clean as well as the bathroom, but the room felt dusted. Windows are dirty, Is the bed cover cleaned after each client?? Poor point was the absence of welcoming at arrival; almost rude.

I enjoyed the location convenience. Definitely close to everything you need without driving. The property is old but overall an enjoyable stay.

Exterior of buildings and surrounding area needs cleaning and attention - make it look like someone cares. Inside lobby needs makeover. Staff could be more welcoming and pleasant.

The bed was very comfortable! I couldn’t stay awake when I was in it. The decor is beautiful!

Owner / manager was incredibly rude and badmouthed Expedia saying that they were taking money from him and that he was the boss and he forced me to pay again even though the Expedia app showed my stay fully paid. After he charged my card he stopped communicating with me just telling me to call Expedia. We took the keys and went to the room but it was grotty and the whole place smelled bad. We decided to cut our stay short and just went home rather than staying at the property, even though I appear to have been charged twice.

Everything in the hotel is super old. Big chunks of carpet that was missing and covered up with a non matching area rug. Huge space in honey moon suite that was pointless and uncomfortabl. All furniture felt/smelled/looked OLD. Cigarette burns on the bath tub. Mattress super hard. Blankets looked as old as the hotel. Front desk check in person was not friendly. Horrible morning coffee and a bunch of old break for choice of breakfast. On an even more creepy side, the building had bad energy and maybe even ghosts. Frequently we were uncomfortable in our room.

This is definitely an older facility. Bathrooms need a fresh coat of paint (at minimum). Front desk is crowded with items and dirty looking. Continental Breakfast was not a full Continental Breakfast. There was no juice or fruit.
