We were evacuated from wakulla county for the recent storm. It was an ok place to stay for one night. It was close to many places to eat. The office staff were very friendly and did their job very well. We did have 3 cats with us and appreciated that. The office, stairwells and walkways could use a good pressure washing.

A bargain and nice staff but strong bleach smell in room and didnt feel safe in the area at night. 2 cops walking around the back side which was odd. Not alot of lights in the room. Only stayed one night, would choose another hotel in Destin if I go back.

Nice little breakfast, pool area private with comfortable seating. Close to all the restaurants we wanted to hit.

Comfortable beds, King Size had four pillows while most places only do three which is a big plus for me! The free breakfast offers a lot of options for anyone from hot items (had biscuits and gravy, sausages, & waffles) to cold items (cereal, muffins, etc) along with the usual drinks (coffee, OJ, etc).

Air conditioning leaked... Holes in the covers and sheets...

My mother and I have stayed at this hotel three times since April. Sophia and Taylor are always ready to accommodate. I always call to discuss which area of the hotel we would like to stay in. The hotel is pet friendly and it is within walking distance of the beautiful Destin Harbor. The pool is perfect and they are always on top of making sure it's clean. I've only been home 5 days but I can't wait to be back!

There was some trash & a piece of clothing behind the sofa. I discovered it only because I moved the sofa to plug in my phone charger. It was corrected after I informed the front office. It was simply an oversight by housekeeping. The breakfast was good every morning & nice to have available. This is a Comfortable place to stay.

The room offered plenty of space and was clean. The air condition was loud and the breakfast from 6-9am didn't have much to offer.

The property was very clean at all times, great pool, great staff. We really enjoyed our stay. Tub fixtures weren’t secure but that was my only complaint. Accesible to many dining options and shops. Will definitely be staying again soon!

The Village Inn is a family run motor inn. The king size bed was comfy, the room was clean and larger than expected with a full sized sofa and table. There was also an office desk and chair. The bathroom was small but adequate. The sink is outside the shower and toilet room. Good size with soap, shampoo, lotion, and makeup remover wipes. The towels were soft. The pool of full sized with a 6’ deep end and a 3” shallow end. Comfortable pool seating as well. The breakfast was biscuits and gravy with sausage. Not my thing but the do offer waffles, bread for toast, bagels and English muffins. So I had some toast. They also offer cereal and a coffee and juice station. Not too bad just a bit limited of you don’t eat biscuits and gravy. I would’ve stayed another night, but I was told they were sold out for the following night. Good for them. Best value in town so not surprised. Give them a try.

Although its a bit noisy first thing in the morning due to being on the strip, its a very nice place, and unique.

Had a hard time checking in..waited over 35 to get our room they said there was an issue with the system.. but it took 25-30min for a manager to arrive to fix the issue.. Woke up to a huge roach above my head on the celing, im assuming it came from the gaps under the door, none of the outlets or charging ports worked at the bedside table, the room smelled like cat urine.. would not recommend this place..

Nice hotel

Loved this place and location

This may be different during high season, but this particular trip was perfect because it was not crowded, and the facilities were prepared in fine fashion, and the price was outstanding. This was the best deal that we can find and it delivered on all levels. Would definitely stay here again for the right price. Don’t expect the Ritz, but it is great for a couple traveling and doing some sightseeing and taking in the nightlife.

Great staff

Staff was great, down to earth, just plain good people. The property is well maintained and the rooms were decent. We did not stay in the room often, as we were exploring the area. But the evenings we were and the beds were clean and comfortable. I'd stay again, next time i visit Destin

Definitely newly remodeled. Comfortable, clean (but could have been a little cleaner), friendly staff, convenient location, great place to stay for the price!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. Outside appearance is super cute clean and taken care of! Lobby very nice clean and taken care of! King Room Very clean, smelled great! Provided all the amenities iron, refrigerator, coffee maker & coffee, hand soap, shampoo conditioner and make up wipes. Super cold AC!! Comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good. Waffles makers to make fresh delicious waffles! Biscuits, sausage, gravy, cereal, muffins, toast, juices and coffee! Great selection! Parking was great!! free and plenty of room to park Pool area was wonderful, clean, relaxing environment! It's open all hours! Staff was friendly and always helpful! Overall experience was great! We felt safe. Great location! Perfect simple place to stay while in Destin! We will be back!
