The spa itself was nice, although felt very dated. The rooms, on the other hand, were in very poor condition, with smelly carpet, dirty cups, and not very nice amenities. Cleanliness was an issue. Most likely would not stay here again, but would use the spa again for a day trip.

Nice wellness with many saunas, only whirpool missing in sauna area. Hotel rooms big and direct access to wellness. Only in bar we were not served any more at 22h30, even if it was opened till 22h45.

Comfortabel bed. Goed ontbijt.

I am a self confessed complaUber when it comes to hotels, but this time I have nothing but great things to say. This hotel is is exceptional. Food, drinks, location, facilities... literally the best pool I have ever been in and I’ve travelled the world a lot! Want to relax? This is 100% the hotel for you!

This was our first time at this Hotel and I would happily return for another stay if I’m in the area again. The pools, spas and other such facilities are outstanding and very enjoyable. We found the Restaurant very well run and the food and service excellent. A visit to Maastricht from this location is also strongly advised.

More of a transient stop for me but nice hotel, with friendly staff and helpful staff. Great location and good food choice.

It is amazing experience. The place is huge with many sauna rooms and pools. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is great, easy to find. We will come back.

This place was great! Great price, great breakfast and friendly staff. Able to use the facility all day after checking out, baggage storage at the hotel. Cant believe anyone would leave a negative review of this place! Food was also good and with normal prices. Highly recommended!

Avoid this hotel. The hotel is very well situated however the service was not up to par- in fact it was in general quite awful. First, at 259 euros a night you would expect that - at a minimum- that complimentary slippers would be supplied. Not the case. One has to purchase them at the information desk for 6 euros a piece- if one's size is still available of course. Not the case for me or my girlfriend unfortunately. it would seem as a negligible point but it isn't. A four star hotel needs to rise to the occasion. Not the case in regards to providing massages when its suitable for guests.The massages are a bit pricey for what you get and the staff is not very accommodating in trying to satisfy your wishes. One could get the impression that they couldn't care less whether you get your massage or not. Also there seems to be a problem liaising between the front desk and the reservation (information) counter at the sauna level. This disconnect means that a massage that you've cancelled might find itself on your bill as was the case for me. So please keep an eye open. Rudeness on the part of hotel employees is also problematic. My girlfriend and I were approached by a hotel employee with a rude demeanor who asked us not to take selfies in the pool area- there was no "pardon me"- or "excuse me"- just a rude woman going about her designated tasks. Finally, the hotel is very austere and there's definitely nothing fancy about it. Breakfast was lackluster and poor. Not worth it.

Although the room had a minibar their is no provision for making a hot drinks in the rooms. The evening meal was more in line with a cooking competion you see on television where cooks are trying to impress the judges with their presentation. Menus are only in Dutch but the staff do speak english and the the meals were describe to us but we were not prepared to see the meals presented as if it was in a cooking competion. The breakfast was first class on both days and you can eat as much as you want. We did not make use of the swimming pool and other facilities as we were not there for that purpose. However it did appear to be well used by other customers. All the staff we came across were first class. Although we were told that our room would not be available till 1400hours on the day of arrival we did in fact arrive at 0800hours. I ask if we could leave the car their and come back later to book in and the reception staff made our room available to us straight away, booked us in and arranged for us to have breakfast which obviously we had to pay for. Hotel is ideal for visiting the Valkenburg Christmas markets held in the caves in the town being only 10 minutes away by foot. However be prepared to walk down a very steep hill to the Town centre where the caves are. We got a Taxi back up to the hotel and paid 7.50 euros which seem reasonable to us. The markets are worth a visit, price of goods in most cases were fair and their is a wide choice.

The hotel has got on their website many things which are not at their premises, I did point this out, and they agreed that the website needs updating. The rooms are poorly and basic for a very expensive rate a night; I can still not believe how bad it was. I wanted to go for a work out in the gym after a day of travelling, and this was not possible, and also not the following morning, I do travel approximately 15 days a month, and this is my first negative comment regarding a stay, and I do think that I am still very gentle. Think before you sink!

hôtel très propre, chambre très spatieuse, literie très confortable, petit déjeuner délicieux et pour tout les gouts mais dommage que les écritaux des thermes n'est pas traduit en français (juste une mini brochure des massages est traduite), rien est expliqué et très mal indiqué, pas assez d'information(dans chambre ou à la réception)sur le séjour, soins et massages pas assez détaillé. Au niveau des thermes, piscine extra et super propre. Dommage que le sauna est nudiste (port du maillot INTERDIT!!!!!!!! même pas le choix!)je trouve qu'il pourrait au moins y avoir un sauna nudiste et un autre non nudiste. Nous avons quand même passé un agréable séjour malgré que nous n'avons pu profité du sauna. Je le recommande question qualité prix.
