The motel would not follow your charges. Almost rude telling us.

The shower wasn't more than a trickle most of the water went into the tub and was very hot and almost to the point of buring - but to have a somewhat warm trickle of water the hornwatwt had to be up. There were blue stains in the sheets from what looked like blue berries or another rype of berry that didnt come out.

Location of the property is great. Office hours are not suitable for proper operation of a motel especially if the owners live on site.

The room was clean, staff was friendly and easy to find

Some guy that appeared to live there started yelling at me and my dog when my food was deliver.
"Kid" at the front desk was the only enjoyable part of the experience.
I travel the island on a regular basis and most definitely will NEVER STAY HERE again.

This older looking hotel was impressive inside the rooms . Clean and comfortable for Business . Wifi was strong and it was priced right for being so close to Duncan and Chemainus .will stay there again

It’s okay for a stopover motel. Rooms are dated but clean. Highway noise did not bother us. Good restaurant next door but they don’t open until 9 am for breakfast.

The motel is a good value for the amount we paid. The rooms were clean, and warm and the motel was located where we needed to be. It was a last minute booking due to an impending storm. The fellow who checked us in was very efficient and caring. Very basic lodging but there when we needed it.

I notified them I would be a late night check in, sent in a signed form, ID, and Mastercard photocopy. Was told to call when I got off the Victoria ferry. Called and no answer, went to voice mail. Called again when I arrived at the motel, no answer, left a message, Had the choice of sleeping in my car or find another accommodation for the night. When I checked in I found I had been billed for the night I had no access to the room, so I paid two places for the same night. Check in was only from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Check out was "use the mail slot" to drop off the keys. The find dining restaurant they advertised was up the street and not part of the motel.

Clean room at a fair price. Quiet for being so convenient to the highway. Basic amenities include wifi and locally roasted coffee for the in-room electric drip machine. One tesla charging station available, but no J1772s. Saw some of the dodgy reviews and decided to take a chance, will stay here again when needing a stop “on the way”.

Although the property is older, it is well kept, clean, quiet and very affordable. Exactly what we were looking for!

I have stayed before , my stay was always very good,, room clean and very hospitable,, but I did book and unfortunately I got there to late, I got off the ferry at 10:15pm got to the hotel at 11:00pm,, no one was there,, so I was left in a frenzy,, all the hotels were full so I finally got one at 1:30am, in Duncan 20 km from Chemainus,,,, very frustrating experience I will go back but make sure I get there before 9:00pm,, they apparently go home at 9:00 so that is,, what you have to prepare for,,

Very disappointed. It served as a place to sleep but nothing more. Ownership needs to invest in updating

The picture showing is not what the rooms looked like. There was no hot water on the entire property when we stayed there. The room was dirty and without air conditioning. We opened the window, only to be right by the dumpster. On top of that we paid the price of chain hotels in the area with no apology or concern by the owner for any of these issues. I had to fight and threaten to get a refund for the next night as we decided to not stay another night.
DO NOT STAY HERE!

It's just okay, the water service was cut off in the morning without letting the people know. You get what you pay for.
