My friend and I recently stayed at Alegria Fenals Mar in Lloret de Mar. Unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. On our very first day, we were dismayed to discover black mold on the ceiling of our room, which had a detrimental effect on our health. The musty odor was overwhelming, making our stay uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the noise from neighboring rooms disrupted our peace, prompting us to cut our stay short and leave on Sunday instead of Monday.
While the hotel did change our room on Friday morning due to the mold issue, we were disappointed that there was no compensation for the inconvenience caused. The situation significantly impacted our vacation, turning what should have been a relaxing and enjoyable time into a rather unpleasant and wasted experience.
Despite these setbacks, I must commend the hotel for its breakfast service and the kindness of its staff. The breakfast was a bright spot during our stay, and the staff members were genuinely nice and friendly, doing their best to make us feel welcome.
In conclusion, our stay at Alegria Fenals Mar was marred by issues such as black mold, an uncomfortable musty smell, and disruptive noise from neighboring rooms. While the breakfast service and staff were commendable, these positives unfortunately could not salvage what turned out to be a disappointing and regrettable holiday.

Excellent location, nice, helpful, multilingual staff. The room where we stayed was small but cosy and quite comfortable. View from the balcony was stunning.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. We only stayed 4 nights staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had bed and breakfast but all inclusive is also an option. Buffet restaurant with hot food available and only a 5 minute walk to the beach with a good variety of bars and shops nearby .

The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. The food is hit and miss, but i didnt expect to like everything. The beach is really close, 5 min walk and the center of Lloret de mar is 15 min walk from the hotel. If you dont want to walk, there are close near by bus stops. There are enough restaurants and bars if you dont want to go to the center. As a whole the place was quiet and me and my girlfriend like the area.As the title suggest we had some issues. The first was the beach. The sand is not really a sand, but really small pebbles. It wasnt pleasant to walk, but we eventually got used to it. The biggest problem from the whole holiday was the pipes in the hotel. Me and my girlfriend like to sleep a lot, but when someone decide to take a shower 6 am , its not fun. I can hear the water right next to my head. Like Im there in the bathroom. The last 2 days someone was in the shower for 20-30 min and we were awake through that time.Despite that I still recommend the hotel, because the area, staff, food etc, but keep the noise in mind

Our stay was a lot better than we thought after reading previous reviews, hotel was beautiful, clean, comfy and in a great location. Only small problem the hotel next door we’re re- doing their pool so it got a little loud at times, but that’s not the fenals mar fault.

Nice hotel close the beach, Very nice staff , receptionists, terrace waiters! restaurante staff And cooks. Very exceptional Ms Giudi animazione responsabile .

Dirty hotel-dirty rooms. Bad food. Quiet street. Nice beach. Soma of the staff was nice ( reception and the restaurant manager) all the others were rude.

Great value hotel in a lovely location (quiet area,great beach, a few decent restaurants and bars and a short walk to the shops of Lloret), with all the amenities of Lloret and the Cost Brava on your doorsteps (probably need a car though to make the most of these). We stayed in a 6th floor sea view room and it was clean adequate space for too people, with a decent shower (a bonus when you get up to the sixth floor in some of these hotels). The only negative was the quality of the food at breakfast - coffee was truly horrible and the rest of the fair was very basic to say the least. They didn't seem to let things run out was about the most positive thing I can say about breakfast.
