just needs better breakfast. was out there at 6:40am and they were already out of breakfast meat and only had about 2 people in the breakfast area.

Our room smelled of urine. We asked the desk to move us to a room that did not reek, but we were told no other rooms were available.

My room was actually an ADA room, which was not requested and I should have been told at check in that was what I was going to be in. Ice machines on floors 1-3 were all broken and Sunday morning I had no hot water in sink or shower. Definitely fell well below my expectations

The check in took a few minutes because no one would come up to the front desk. The phone rang for awhile until someone came up. It was 7pm. Also the A/C was terrible. It clicked on and off I assume once it reached the temp. This noise woke me up every single time it came on and went off. It felt pretty muggy/humid in the hallways and in our room. The amount of money we had to pay for the weekend.I expected better.

Most of the staff were really nice and welcoming. The manager is very rood . They did not charge me what was on my reservation they charged me more then that. They told me my reservation through expedia was canceled because they couldnt get a hold of me but yet called me to tell me that. I spoke to the manager and she threatened to call the cops on me because i wasnt paying a diffrent rate then what they gave me. I wouldbt recommend this hotel because if the manager and how they try to over charge you. Never again

Someone with my same last name, Broussard, cancelled the reservation in my name. I didn’t cancel my reservation. No rooms were available! I had to wait in the lobby until another room came available, 30-45 minutes. I was late for my grandson’s graduation. Totally unacceptable! How can someone other than yourself cancel a reservation booked through Expedia?!?!

Arrived earlier than check in time by just a little over an hour and was turned away for check in. Returned at check in time and was turned away again due to no clean rooms. Was asked to wait another 15 minutes. Returned again, room was upgraded by the person who checked me in, and apologies were given for the delay in check in. They redeemed themselves and the room was nice and quite large. I would stay again, and arrive no earlier than check in time.

They had no soap. The ice machine on our floor was out of ice and I had to go back downstairs to the 1st floor. The elevator sounded terrible and felt like it was going to fail. The a/c in the room was loud and didn't work well, it ran almost constantly but never cooled well. I wouldn't recommend. Also was very expensive. I've stayed other much nicer hotels for way less money.

This was a good place to stay, I would have given it 5 stars but they made me go through a pre-arrival process online and repeated the same questions, identification process and credit card taken even thought I had just completed this process earlier including the signature. They captured my credit card information online and had me take a pic of my drivers license.

Worst stay ever. Got charged for smoking in room when there was no smoking in the room. I had smoked outside in my vehicle then came back in. The manager Trina is not a very helpful person and neither is her head housekeeper who clearly doesnt know the difference from when someone smokes outside and not in a room. Just fyi if you smoke inside a motel room the smell stays in there for a while so please explain to me when you find out that room didnt get smoked in. I just believe they were out to get money which is ok God does not like ugly and it will come back on you.

We arrived super late amd staff was incredible. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was ready and hot, elevator was a little sketchy but overall excellent stay.

The hotel it self was well maintained in general/ the elevator was out during the first day of our stay which was inconvenient due to the amount of luggage we had. Not a huge deal for me but I did feel bad for the senior citizens who were ahead of me and placed on the fourth floor. After helping them with their luggage, we took ours up and got settled. The room was clean, spacious and the AC units got it cold quickly. Our main concern was with the evening front desk clerk who continued to try to run our baseball team group out of the lobby. We had a group of around 20, kids and adults and we were using the area to socialize and play games. She asked us to leave at 10pm, due to noise. When we went to see if you could hear us far down the hall where the few first floor rooms were there was no noise. It became obvious the noise was just too much for her. She made us feel
Unwelcomed. We offered to go into the meeting room- that was a no, the outdoor pool area was closed after 9. There were no other available spaces because I assure you had we all been in the big suite we would’ve certainly have been a disturbance. We chose to stay at this hotel as a team so we could use the bonding time outside the game to grow closer and Megan certainly put a damper on that. Everyone else we interacted with here on staff was kind and welcoming.

The properties WiFi didn’t work.
Friday night we were in the lobby until after midnight with no issues. Come Saturday night we were down there again with our group, there was another group in the seating area near the front desk. Megan came over and told us that her manager Tina told her we need to leave the lobby by 9:30, that she was doing us a favor and gave us until 10pm. But she didn’t not tell the other group anything. I refused to go to my room at 10pm simply because she was singling us out and didn’t tell the other group until after we mentioned it then she tried to tell them to go to their room and they refused as well. She wanted us and our kids in our rooms by 10pm but had her children on the property. It was very unprofessional how she approached just our group. And we have 7 families there with us, traveling 2 hours and had booked our 8 rooms for the entire weekend. Would not recommend this property because of the poor service, on top of that during the busiest time of the day, the decided to do service on the elevator

I didn’t like anything about my stay! The faculty was TERRIBLE. The sink in our room was stopped up, I asked for towels all weekend and didn’t get one!! Whoever worked the front desk during the second night of our stay was rude!! Do NOT recommend staying here.

The check in process was very slow. The hotel did not have WiFi. They stated they rebooted the router however even by Sunday there was no wifi downstairs or upstairs. The lady at check in Friday night was very nice but seemed overwhelmed. Megan on Saturday night was not friendly. She did not want us to gather in the dining area and even told party members she was charging my card $50 for a noise complaint and threw the manager’s name around “Tina.” She made comments to other members of our group that she bets “403” will complain about the elevators. First and foremost, closing the elevators down for maintenance at 7 pm is inconvenient. Fortunately I don’t have a disability and we were able to carry our items upstairs to the 4th floor however if I did have a disability it would have been a problem. We will not return.

It took 30 minutes for someone to meet us at the front desk. What about security of the hotel or guests?!!! Waited around with multiple guest until she showed up. Once she showed up we got a key. Three tries and the key didn’t work. Once she came up there with the master key it could be opened to find out someone was in the room sleeping. Awkward moment and not something I have ever experienced in a hotel.
Horrible trip and we won’t be staying here ever again.

We liked that our favorite restaurants are in walking distance. We enjoyed the stay in Brownwood. The only complaint I have is that you can hear everything… the neighbors were loud and I don’t think it’s it intentional, just thin walls. Our kids are autistic so it was rough for them to hear the doors slamming and kids running around. We were able to maintain them and reassure them it was ok. We skipped the room service only for the fact with autism we made our selves comfortable and didn’t want things disturbed when we come back to the room. We appreciate everything just wanted our things to be the way we left them 👍
