This hotel is next to a natural spring that flows right next to the swimming pool. The property is very nice, and so are the rooms.

Beautiful little hotel with a very nice outdoor area with both sun and shade. Great service and an excellent breakfast. Worth the price, will stay here every time.

The hotel is located on a lovely river so you hear the lovely voice of water all day. Our room was very nice with lovely view of all that quiet scenery. The breakfast was very good but above all I must send my thanks to the staff who was so kind to wait for us as we checked in at 11pm .

This is a wonderful, modern hotel, yet with character. The staff are warm and accomodating. Breakfast is excellent! The location is wonderfully convenient to the Fountain of Vaucluse, with the waters of the Sorgue running right around and under the hotel. Parking is plentiful and convenient, making the location ideal for day trips to other sites in the area. There is a wonderful patio area on the east side, shaded in the afternoon, just perfect to relax and enjoy a bottle of local wine with some fruit, bread, goat cheese or what have you. Or buy a sandwich or pizza from the food truck in the square. TIP: The local stores keep chilled bottles of wine in the back, just ask! We would certainly stay here again!

We love this hotel and have stayed three times. We arrived in a torrential thunderstorm and the owner came out with a huge umbrella to help us keep dry as we got out of the rain. The setting is charming, and it couldn’t be more convenient - two minutes walk to éventer of the village. Excellent breakfast buffet, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. We like room 11, it overlooks the river and pool.

Lovely 3 night stay at the Hotel du Poète. We arrived for a single night, but were so comfortable we stayed an extra two nights. Breakfast was a hassle for us, because we didn't want to spend 17E per person. Free coffee in the lobby would be a nice touch, as well as better towels.

This is THE perfect location for the village. It is quite, protect but right in the centre. Fabulous service and staff, literally five star. Great breakfast.

I absolutely loved this beautiful and elegant hotel! It has a lovely outdoor area with a pool, hot tub, and running spring water... The staff people were helpful, friendly, and classy; they were happy to speak English. The hotel is in a nice location to visit Gordes and it's an easy walk to a charming town (Fountaine-de-Vaucluse) with nice restaurants and relaxing scenery. I would love to go back again sometime! Highly recommend it to all.

Do not look further - we hunted around for a beautiful spot to stay in Vaucluse, and considered splurging on some fancy places. But then we found Hotel du Poete and that was it! It has all the amenities of a fancier B&B but a bit more privacy to come and go than staying as a guest in someone's home. The hotel is beautiful, located right on the creek/river that is part of the Fontaine/Sorgue. Open your window to hear gentle running water and NOTHING else. So peaceful. Or sit in the beautiful grounds and watch the water and enjoy the landscaping, pool or hot tub. There is a path from the hotel grounds to the small town of Fontaine de Vaucluse (100m max) meaning that you can walk to a restaurant for dinner and no one has to be the DD! This was very appealing to us after driving around all day visiting villages and vineyards. Definitely go to Chez Dominique - Gilbert the proprietor is charming and the food is Michelin rated - delicious! Because Fontaine de Vaucluse is so small, hop in your car and immediately be driving through beautiful provencal countryside - short trips to Gordes, Isle sur la Sorgue, mennebes etc. Enjoy - an perfect, idyllic place. NO COMPLAINTS. Bliss.

The hotel has a unique design exterior and interior as well. The staff is very kind and ready to offer you all the info you might need. Rooms are very clean! The pool is excellent and also the jacuzzi. One of the most perfect breakfast! An experience to remember! I will gladly come back to stay in this lovely hotel!

Hotel is a little hard to find, but has a (short and safe) pathway to the center of the small village. Staff is very friendly and helpful - 5-star service, including getting ice for us, even though it is strange for the French to use so much ice. Rooms are small, but so are 90%of the hotel rooms in France. Absolutely a wonderful area to spend two days in.

A lovely hotel in a quiet location, within easy walking distance of multiple restaurants, and with a nice garden for sitting and enjoying a beer or glass of wine. It was a great base for exploring various parts of Provence, and we returned each evening after the crowds had left the town to a peaceful place. The staff are extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

This hotel is well run, and nicely done up, with gallons of water pouring past all the time as it used to be a mill. It is excellent value.

We stayed in this hotel the very first night of our Provence vacation. How lovely! The hotel was so romantic. The stream of water runing around the hotel. You had to cross a little bridge to walk to the plaza. Yes the room was extremely small and the bed was very low to the floor and extremely!!! hard, we still had a delightful time. The breakfast looked apetizing even though we didn't eat there. The service was great. Please go and enjoy the area.
