Older building, but large room with everything I needed. Great to have parking. Though during my stay there was road works right out front, so not always easy to turn into the driveway if on the wrong side of the road. 15 minute walk into town

Liked having the kitchenette. Worked great for our needs. Will surly be back

It’s a very centric small hotel. Our rooms were very clean, and exceded all expectations. Honestly, after being away from home for several weeks staying here felt closely familiar to staying home.

Great staff and very helpful. The rooms were quite nice with a spectacular view!! Very Clean. The parking was a bit tight but we managed. We will stay here the next time we are in Queenstown.

The rubbish bin in our living room and bathroom didn’t get emptied every day. So basically you came back to your room with yesterday’s rubbish still sitting in the bin and you can still see the bread crumbs on the carpet from the breakfast as no one vacuum the room neither. Stayed there for 3 nights & will never choose this place again.

The property is a little old fashioned but rustic. The lady at the reception was very pleasant and helpful. One thing lacking was there was no closet in the room. We had a lake facing room and the view was marvelous. Our stay was very comfortable.

It was a little bit of a walk to get to town, but the view is second to none.

This property is a last resort for holidays ….we stayed in two other properties in Queenstown which were equally priced….they were wonderful, welcoming & accomodating. Emails were never returned by owners prior to our stay and although the website stated breakfast was included (a standard service in family accomodation in Queenstown for skiers), when we checked in we were told “not serving breakfasts coz can’t get staff”! Zero love given here in all areas. Considering what you CAN get for accomodation in Queenstown for same cost, I would not recommend at all. Plastic bathrooms, poor water pressure, nice view of lake on grim balcony. Sorry Earnslaw Lodge, you are 30 years behind what’s expected in 2023!
