We drove through Globe a few years ago and were not impressed. This time, we stayed at a great hotel, sipped wine at a local winery and had an excellent Italian meal. The drive through the Salt River Canyon this morning was spectacular.

This is perfectly fine for what it is. The doors are on the exterior and there are definitely some sketchy characters in the neighborhood, but we lived through the night, so that’s a win. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Breakfast is what you would expect: fine.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I came in late and all the parking spaces were full, but the staff showed me an acceptable place to park by the back wall. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, room furniture seemed new, no funky odors. The room had a refrigerator, coffee maker and hair dryer. I took off one cleanliness star for a couple stray hairs in the bathroom but honestly I find the same in five star hotels. As long as I don’t find them in the bed I’m fine. The bed was comfy, not lumpy, sheets were clean and smelled fresh. The hotel itself was very quiet. The blackout drapes, quiet room and 11 AM checkout time let me sleep in after a late night. Globe doesn’t offer much in the way of fancy lodging but this is about as good as it gets. I’d out it on par with the Holiday Inn Express, which is my other favorite place in town. The Holiday Inn has electric car chargers and a hotel format, the Best Western has free breakfast, lower rates, and gated parking in the back. Will stay here again.

Always a comfortable stay. Staff is warm and helpful. Adore the hot breakfasts made by Linda, such a sweet character and shows dedication to her job. Appreciate the quiet time enforcement, ensuring you’ll get a quiet evening to wind down. Beautiful view.

The hotel was clean if a bit out-dated. The pool and hot tub were not open during our stay and the lobby was too small to encourage relaxing there so the only space was really just your room. Breakfast was good but a bit different in that all the hot foods were kept behind a glass wall and were served up for you by a very pleasant woman.

This was not a hotel. But, a motel with an elevator. If you have arthritis, depending on where your room is, you will have a few stairs.Those could be a little difficult to navigate with luggage. The beds were hard as rocks. I stayed two nights and did not sleep very well. The water pressure for the shower was barely above a drip. The shower head had a few different settings. I tried them all and the water pressure was awful. I've stayed in Best Westerns in many different cities while traveling. Most are really good. This was the worst. I will never stay here again. I noticed a new Holiday Inn Express a little further down or there is also Apache Gold Resort and Casino.

No frills but was very clean and staff was very friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions etc. This is essentially a motel with doors opening to the outside so take that into consideration. Thin interior walls made for noisy neighbors.

The check in was pleasant, and efficient. This hotel has 2 floors stairs only, front desk was very accommodating placing us on the ground floor. Rooms and bathroom is very clean. Bed is comfortable.

Bed was comfortable, quite for sleeping, clean, staff nice, offered to change rooms when unable to take bath due to no plug for tub, king room had small couch & table, had desk as well, Denny's right there for food, easy access for hwy as well. We were happy with our short stay here at the Copper Hills Best Western. Thank you.
