Room needs blackout curtains and tv is not good,could only ger bbc , itv etc

I work away most of the time there was nothing wrong at all with my stay i will definitely there again when back in the area its a good 9 out of 10

Lovely country hotel with great food and service

Very nice service and close to Blenheim Palace. We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was excellent.

The people were great. The breakfast which was included was great with light to full breakfast menu options. The dinner the night before was the best pub food we have had in the UK after our first week. The room was clean. My only complaint would be the bed. Way too soft for me. This was also really close to Blenheim Palace was a thumbs up.

Stayed 3 times now, great place, friendly staff, decent dining options and a hearty breakfast. Will definitely book again when working near woodstock.

Very warm welcome provided. Loved that it was a privately owned and that the owners genuinely cared about their guests.

We stayed overnight as we were visiting Blenheim Palace for the Christmas displays. Didn't realise the pub is approx 2 miles from Blenheim but this was not a problem. The pub is very popular and busy with a friendly atmosphere. Our room was good value, clean and comfortable and breakfast was good, we would stay again.

Great location to visit all attractions very friendly staff and great food. good menu booked the full board option which was perfect for my trip . Would definitely stay again .

Had a very comfortable overnight stay. Large room with all the amenities needed to make it a pleasing stay. Great bar and restaurant onsite so we didn’t need to venture into town (about a mile and a half away) for dinner. Breakfast was fantastic with locally sourced quality produce. Only slight criticism was with the shower being a low pressure and not allowing me to keep the tap out to run the overhead shower - just the handheld.

Nice hotel, good and friendly staff, really great breakfast and dinner in the well appointed restaurant. Good location near to Banbury and Bicester and not that far from Oxford.

Very nice staff and wonderful setting about a mile from Blenheim Palace. Very clean modern room. I would definitely recommend it.

We were made welcome but were fed up with finding 5 long legged spiders in the bath.The dark paint in bathroom and on door were very chipped .the shower i had to be shown how to work .We were not told until all booked and booking a meal that the saturday had a live band and bar etc crowded and very noisy.The room cost £450 for 2 nights.We had expected quality.. Although staff very helpful Quality all round we did not have.Definately not worth so much money. Most unfortunately.Some money refunded would be most welcome

Stay related to work. Despite being next to a busy road I found room to be quiet with little traffic noise. Nice pub attached with friendly staff.

The property was warm and welcoming on the coldest week of the year. Stayed 11th December2022 for 3 nights. The staff were all superb, nothing was too much trouble! Hoping to return sometime soon! A truly wonderful stay !!

This is a little gem. Bus stop outside to Oxford, and back. Brill. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Would stay again, so give it a try.

This is a little hotel next to a little pub. We were greeted by a lovely young lady who showed us to our room. Room was simple, bed was comfortable, it was clean. It was very hot and there was no fan and that would probably be the one minor complaint but perhaps we could have requested one but as we were just staying overnight for a wedding it didn’t matter much. Wouldn’t stay here more than that really, it serves well as a quick stay location in my opinion!
