Nice hotel, nice staff, close to restaurants in a cute quirky town. Unfortunately, the pool and hot tub were unavailable. Given that it is about 100d outside, we were not too happy. When we complained, they comped us a free night. So VERY responsive and accommodating.

Overall the stay was good. The 2 things that I didn't know was how hard the beds were and the fact that there's a $30 incidentals fee tacked on. I was not aware of it. I hope to get reimbursed for that. The beds were really stiff and uncomfortable. Did not get a good night sleep. The pool was nice, we had it to ourselves. No continental breakfast. But overalls friendly, helpful.

During our (4 adults, 2 pugs) one night stay in Roswell, we stayed here mostly because it was pet friendly and offered two queen beds vs. Two double beds like other hotels. The beds were very uncomfortable and left us all too tired and painful to complete our activities the next day. Our room was also very warm even though we had the thermostat at 60°. The hotel and room were very clean and staff were very nice. The pet area was conveniently located in the back but offered little to no grass (pea gravel) so we walked across the street to a neighboring hotel to use their pet area. It was also much cleaner.

This was a pretty nice property, off the road a bit so it was very quiet. Very clean, had a kitchenette, and also the front desk lady was helpful. Stayed here for a business trip to Roswell and then a tourist trip to Carlsbad.

Excellent experience. Even though we didn't use it, we especially liked the "if you need it" option - slow cooker and other items that would come in handy for a few days or extended stay. Marvelous staff.

The hotel was not kept clean. The pool was dirty with the chlorine problem. The hot tub is broke down and gross not impressed at all about your property more than likely will not stay with your franchise again.

Location good and staff very nice. The only drawback is outside needs power wash and it’s a bit rundown but that did not take away from the fact it had great air conditioning… it was very hot outside and the feel they really took pride in cleanliness which I appreciated.

The hotel was not as clean as it should’ve been and was just generally so so condition there was no breakfast even though other candlewood we stayed at had breakfast and we will not stay there again. The utensils in the kitchen were dirty so we didn’t use those and the sofa bed has used had to change the sofa bed. It was a disappointment.

We didn't get the Suite that I purchased with king size bed, ended up getting two queen's which the mattress and pillows were hard and very uncomfortable. TV was extremely out dated and blurry. Room was very out dated. When I complained about the not getting the room that I purchased they said " It was my fault because that what happens when I book online. They said we had popcorn in our room which it didn't and when I asked about it they said " it's not their fault and they didn't anymore.
If I have to stay in Roswell, NM again I will most likely go to the Holiday Inn. I tried to book with them nut the were sold out!

It was overall an enjoyable one night stay. Chris at the front desk was very helpful, he even made sure there were towels by the pool. The room with a kitchen in it is very convenient. The facilities could be given a bit more of attention and We could hear the people above us stomp around.
