My wife and I had stayed here before. Super nice owners, Pops Diner right beside property, a block to "shopping center", Salty Dawg's. Site is old, and you can tell it, but is not rundown. We will be back.

Amazing stay. Staff is so friendly and make sure you are taken care of! I would stay here every time!

We stay at the Holiday Motel every December, and it is always a great value, clean, and the staff are very accommodating. Definitely recommend when in Maggie Valley

Great older motel. Room was very nice with excellent bed and chairs on the front porch. Handicap friendly shower. Staff quite friendly.

Very nice stay enjoy the rockers outside it was close to the event so it was nice close to good restaurants beds was a little hard but a overall good stay would stay there again.

Excellent facility, and for the price, it can't be beat! Highly recommend. Would rebook if in the area again.

We stayed here for a weekend visiting to Maggie Valley. The hotel was a wonderful throwback to days gone by. The beginning of our great customer friendly experience was a phone call from the owner asking our planned check in time. Since we were arriving after regular office hours, he walked me through the checking in process and told me which rooms would be ours and made sure to have them prepared. When we arrived. The rooms were just as he'd described. They were clean and very inviting. My favorite addition to the hotel was the wooden rocking chairs next to each door outside so you could enjoy the beautiful view or chat with your neighbors. The hotel is in walking distance of many of the sights in town. It was an amazing family friendly experience, family run, and we plan on going back for our next trip to Maggie Valley. We love to shop small and support local business. Staying in a small, family run hotel like this is the perfect way to achieve that rather than a large chain.

This place is very nice!

The motel reminded us of the1940,1950 era. Our room was very clean, the bathroom had been updated and even boasted a walk in shower. Everyone was very friendly. There were two rocking chairs outside our room, which we took advantabge of. While sitting outside we spotted a mountain goat. The nexf day we found out that there is a family of mountain goats. Also, there are elk that come down every evening

The property was awesome very nice and clean,and the staff great and the best part is the Owner wow goes out of his way to please and make sure everything is great .The best time me and my husband has had in years very much so impressive,trust me my husband is very picky and he can't stop bragging about it ,they even light and have a bon fire every night totally awesome you will not regret staying here that is for sure .The restaurant that is next door called Pop's Place is awesome as well .

Another great trip to Maggie Valley. This is my second time staying at A Holiday Motel, very happy with my choice. Room was spotless and a very friendly and easy check in. The only problem that I had was the inconsiderate people in the room next to me, tv left on all night, don't know how they could sleep because it sure bothered me. Not the fault of the hotel though. Won't stop me from staying here again.

Overall reasonable for the price.

Hotel is convenient and close to food and shopping. We have stayed here when it was warm and when it was cold. The rooms are roomy and clean. The only negative we have is that the bathroom was very cold, but the room was toasty. Owners are nice and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

The only bad point was the lack of soundproofing. I could hear every word of every argument, every phone conversation, and every...well...let's just say they were very amorous later. Both nights. Two different couples. Maybe this is the place for hot action and I just didn't know it. But, the owners are absolute gems and so kind. Rooms immaculate, updated bathrooms, beds clean. Maybe just bring earplugs.

We've always enjoyed A Holiday Hotel. From back when they first started to remodel it till now, the rooms are always clean and a little larger than most hotels.
