Clean and spacious room. Comfortable bed with nice crisp sheets. Well equipped with kitchenette amenities. Ample and easy parking.
Overnight Traffic noise from adjacent highway was disruptive as room was immediately beside the highway. A room further into the complex would likely have mitigated the noise.
Wifi weakened as evening progressed to point of becoming unusable in a practical sense. Overall the stay was ok for an overnight and is worthwhile consideration

Parking was really good, a small playground was fun, little balcony was convenient, but it was so cold in the rooms, there was only one AC no other heaters, even though there was electric blanket it was still really cold, also not much hot water for shower, only one roll of toilet paper kept in there so we ran out of it and used our own tissues, the whole place smells a bit might need some air fresheners.

No double glazing in the units to cut down the road noise which is only metres from the unit we stayed in.
We would have liked to of watched sky TV but both the evening and morning after advertise that the sky was not available due to atmospheric conditions which I seriously doubt. There was only one coffee sachet provided and it would’ve been nice to have a cuppa coffee at night and one the next morning. The hot water pressure was minimal and not sufficient to have a comfortable shower.

We had a great stay, staff are very friendly and helpful and units are clean and well stocked. Plenty of parking and a good space for the kids to play.

I did not check on whereabouts of Beach Road. I assumed it would be near a beach, but no it was on the main south/north road with heavy trucks passing all night. Not much sleeping done.
Also breakfast promised, and indeed was on their street advertising, but when I asked it, was no we don't do breakfast.

We arrived slightly early only to have a lady step out of room and scream across the carpark that we were early come back later. She actually had no idea who we were. We could have been people asking for a look through or their next available date.

- The 5th bed was a proper bed in the lounge area making for a better night's sleep

We had a a great stay at Kaikoura Motor Inn. It is a bit out of town but we had a car so not a problem. The furnishings are basic but clean and comfortable. Bed was comfy but a bit soft for me. Good kitchen with everything you need. Fairly spacious unit and I think great value for a 2 bed apartment.

All is good. We are four persons without a car and plan to hike in the South Bay of Kaikoura. It is difficult to take a taxi at that time and worried about our that day trip. The boss of this hotel is very nice and ride us to view Sightseeing and send us to hiking place. I am very appreciate and feel so warm in New Zealand. Recommend to stay.
