Upscale property with many green spaces.

Never coming back to this hotel. It was the last days of our honeymoon and the experience we had on the hands of the hotel was the worst we have encountered in our lives. The staff made
US LOSE THE LAST DAY OF OUR HONEYMOON AND THEY DONT EVEN GIVE YOU ANY COMPENSATION. TOO PRICEY FOR THE EXPERIENCE YOU GET.
We specifically wanted a room that had a jacuzzi (because we knew it was going to rain, so we wanted to enjoy the warm bath with a rood and enjoy the amazing views). Therefore we paid 400€ for 2 nights in that room (the oceanview room). When we get there to use the main reason why we booked that hotel and that room, the hot water didnt work. We asked for the to fix it to be able to enjoy that commodity. They couldnt fix it, so they offered us an “upgraded room” that had a pool and was in front of the beach, and even though it didnt have a jacuzzi, it had a bathtub inside. They assured us the hot water worked in that room. Unfortunately the experience was already bad, because we wanted the other room. Nevertheless, we called to accept the new room to try to enjoy our last day. They said they were cleaning it, to give them 45 minutes. It took them almost 2 hours to give us the new room (in our last day of Honeymoon). We couldnt even ask for room service or leave the room because we were waiting for them ti give us the new one). And then, when we were going to use the commodity of the Bathtub THERE WAS NO HOT WATER IN THAT ROOM EITHER.

Such a nice hotel. My friend had her birthday while we where at this hotel, we hadn’t said anything to the staff, but I guess they could see that on the booking. The day of her birthday the made a little towel cake, so cute. Very good breakfast, nice and helpful staff, clean rooms, overall a good experience at this hotel.

This is not an Expedia VIP Access hotel. All benefits on Expedia are for ALL hotel guest. Also you will not get any upgrade. Even now in low season, while the hotel is really not crowded "there are no upgrade accomations available". Interesting.
The doors of many rooms are broken. The card system to get a new card is broken every day. Every time they promised us to provide us with a card "within 15 min". After calling 3 times and waiting for hours of which more than 1 in the dark (bevause you need the card for electricity, AC etc.) we finally got one again. This happened 2 times, total waste of holiday time.
The breakfast is just "ok". The bread is dry and patisserie like croissants are quite fat. So eating something different than rice or omelet is quite difficult.
The staff is friendly, but not of any help. Smiling and being friendly doesn't solve problems. Internally they communicate so bad, that every time you have to explain issues again. Believing that things will turn out fine, will disappoint you. Keep on reminding them to do the things they promised you. For example: bring new towels and that house keeping forgot, bring the suitcases to the room. If you ask them, they say "yes we will do", but we found our luggage standing in the lobby for hours. No one did do anything. They smile and say sorry, but that doesn't help. Someone could just have taken it in the meantime. We were lucky that nothing bad happened.

Location is great. Beaches really nice. Restaurant was nice, with an amazing view of sunset.

Room need little work, the wood floor need to replace or re do. Breakfast buffet is so so, but the view is great. This hotel is in quite area of samui. The beach isn’t that great, it’s not sandy beach. If you want to get away find yourself. This is the spot. Staff are great, they all deserve 10 out of 10.

If you want a nice quiet place to be then this would be the place for you. There’s nothing around this place. It’s about 20 minutes to the night market and the popular tourist area. This villa is isolated from many major tourist attractions.

The reception Boss is very helpful and friendly. But the dinner at the restaurant was quite disappointing.The curry pork taste

Lovely facilities although a little tired and needing a bit of attention.
Service was very confusing though, wait staff more preoccupied with chatting amongst themselves than serving customers. Sometimes requiring a wait of 15 minutes to get their attention in an almost empty restaurant. Most of the staff speak a minimal amount of English, meaning common requests such as “no sugar in my coffee” often didn’t get across.
Each time the same item was ordered it came back differently, implying little standardisation in the kitchens.
Bar tender rarely present at the pool bar, and when they were service was slow and confused.
Food was overall delicious but not comparable to restaurants charging similar prices.

This was my third stay at Fair House Villas & Spa. Everytime satisfying and no complains at all.
Great breakfast buffet - lot of choices and the girls are very serviceminded.

Warmer hotel as it is surrounded in trees which is nice. Deet is a must once you walk outside the door once the sun starts setting;) Great location right by the beach and easy access to both pool and sea water. Nice breakfast and staff.

The property is so very tired. Our room had an amazing view but the walls were peeling, the room door didn't shut properly, the wardrobe doors were slightly out of alignment so it didn't close all the way, the bathroom door knob was loose, and the wall was smudged with paint bubbles and peeling. However, the bed was comfortable and the housekeeping staff maintained the room well. The bathroom was clean although the water stopped briefly during a shower and there were no conditioner or body lotion. Be sure to bring your own. Breakfast selection was decent. The spa was very good though - pandanus Spa.

Lovely resort with great amenities and accommodation. Massive king size bed, beautiful bathroom. Loved outside chalet type rooms surrounded by trees and plants. Restaurant overlooking the sea and sandy beach.
Downside was having to wait quite a long time after 2pm check in when we'd arrived early at 11 and told they would try and get us early check in. Disappointed also to find out that the 6am breakfast advertised was now 7am and the 6am packed breakfast promised didnt artive before we left for the surport. Also we had to pay to get the hotel shuttle bus to the airport at a cost of 600 bhart and no hotel discount or free shuttle. Plus was that a staff member was waiting outside our room dot on 6.30 am to take us and our luggage in a golf buggy. Overall lovely resort and friendly staff.

We had an incredible 5 night stay. The style of the hotel and views are amazing. The food is great and all staff are very attentive.
Would highly recommend. There’s a beach which is easily walkable and the area is nice and quiet.

Our stay of four nights was like being in a garden paradise at the beach. The pools were beautiful warm and even had platforms to rest on with whirlpool jets. The Breeze restaurant had amazing food with custom modifications made for my gluten and other food intolerances. The staff were great!

My family and I loved our stay at the Fair House. The resort is tucked away from the main tourist areas. We stayed only two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the food at the restaurant is delicious and authentic, and the pool area is spacious and well maintained. The rooms themselves are well decorated and clean. We loved everything about the resort and plan to return the next time we visit Thailand.

The Resort (5 of 5):
It is located near the end of a dead end road. Very quite and peaceful. The area is very lush and full of fauna. gardeners keep it clean all day every day. The beachfront is kept in beautiful shape and you just need to take 5 steps and your in the ocean. Poolarea is also very nice and a great spot to relax.
Room (4 of 5):
We had a wonderful experience. The Ocean View Garden Villa was very lovly and beautiful. The View in the morning from the balcony was so amazing. Two or three things were not perfect and maybe a little bit dated but that is nitpicking and did not lower the quality of the stay at all.
Service (6 of 5):
The Service we experienced was always perfect. The staff went out and beyond what we knew to help us with tours, travel, food and everything else. Real dedication from everyone we met.
Food (6 of 5):
The food is really delicious. We had breakfast included and coundn't ask for more. Over 10 different breads and pasterys. 5 Marmelades. various sliced meats and cheese. 6 fresh juices. Fresh salad. Fresh fruits. Various changing local dishes (hot and spicy). Made in front of your eyes egg dishes (omlet e.g.) and pancakes. Coffee and Tea Variations.
Dinner dishes were also a delight and very tasty. We had the Halloween Dinner and the Chef even came out and ask if everything was to our liking.

Our pool villa was very comfortable, clean and tidy. All staff were eager to help and make sure our stay was the best it could be.
From cocktails at the pool bar to watching the sea at the restaurant we were totally satisfied.

Beautiful villa right on the water! A bit far from most things in the city but the staff was nice enough to arrange a motorcycle rental for me. Def a nice relaxing getaway

The staff were amazing! One of the many examples: I had originally booked a room for ocean view however the room was a climb up the hill which was not possible for my mother. The staff helped us relocate to another room which was lower and that made the entire experience much better. Really appreciate the team and the personalized service.

Property looked really nice, but things let it down, no one was ever working the pool bar even after we asked about it, had to go and ask for clean towels and the dressing gowns never were returned even though we asked for them

Lovely resort right on the sea. Pool and bungalows are great. Not close to much so you’ll need transportation if you want to shop.
