I can’t say enough good things about our stay here, and about the family that runs Pension Sofi. Our room was beautiful, clean and comfortable, and after we were picked up from the ferry (for free!) Rena met us in the lobby with homemade cake to orient us to Naxos and give us helpful recommendations. We rented a car through the hotel, which made things super easy and let us see more of Naxos. They also serve delicious breakfast in the morning. We loved our stay and would absolutely stay here again, thank you Rena and family!

Rene & family were awesome. Best place to stay. Bedrooms are great and views to the old castle. The old town is calm, not crowded, and the beaches are beautiful. Plaka beach as Rene recommended is 10/15 min away is one of the best. A must place to stay in beautiful Naxos. And also the pick you up and drop you from the ferry port as free service ❤️❤️

From the moment we arrived Rena, Sofi and their entire family were superb hosts and really made our visit to Naxos very special. They were all exceptionally helpful acquainting us to their island and they also made many excellent tourist recommendations; from restaurants located in the city center to visits to villages nestled in the interior of the island. All the other rave reviews are not exaggerating- staying at Pension Sofi will be a highlight of your trip, don’t hesitate to book your stay.

This is a beautiful family run pension. Very clean and beautifully maintained and decorated. Super nice people and walkable to the town and restaurants. Very peaceful. Highly recommend it. Stayed with my teenage daughter. Kitchenette was super!

Wonderful family run hotel, close to the port and everything else. We were picked up at the ferry by the owner and returned to the ferry when we left. Lovely room with kitchenette, balcony, modern bathroom. We were served breakfast each morning, coffee, homemade baked goods and fresh fruit. Would definitely return!

Family owned apartment hotel. Sophi’s dad picked us up from the port and her mom made us very welcome. The studio apartment was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is nicely decorated and well maintained. Convenient location for beach, shops, restaurants and busses. Walkable distance to see the amazing sunset view from the Temple of Apollo. Sophi made me a bracelet as a souvenir. I am planning to go back next year.

A wonderful hotel, owners and hospitallity, willing to help you with anything you ask for, giving advices where to go around the island and offering us free coffee, sweets and fruits every morning. The hotel is 10 minutes by feet from the port and though we were picked by Theodorous by their van and the same at our departure.

clean, decorated with fine touch, bathroom is wide spaced and the shower as well with cosy
showerhead.
They have a parking place, which feats 4 cars but it is close to old part of town.

We stayed in Pension Sofi for a week. They recommended several great local restaurants and places to visits. The most impressive experience here is that there is not so tourist here, just like stay at friend's house. We really enjoy our stay here!

We loved being met by a member of the family who run Pension Sofi when we arrived at the port, and having sights, restaurants and more pointed out en route to the hotel. Cosy breakfasts with other guests and the family were a welcome start to the day. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the inclusion of the little clothes line on the balcony was very handy. The decor was very smart and fresh.would love to return here some day, as so many guests seem to do.

I had an amazing stay at Pension Sofi! The hosts were wonderful and I loved the breakfast. I highly recommend everybody in Naxos stay here. The location is also close to everything but tucked away.

The owners were very friendly and they go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your time on naxos. They picked us up from the port, kept our luggage the day we checked out and met us at the port with our luggage. They did prefer their payment in cash which we hadn't been aware of, but otherwise the stay was great.

Just one night between sailing and leaving Naxos but so welcoming and comfortable for our needs (shower, bed and AC). The hosts treated us to a welcome drink and figs from the garden, a pick up service and a lift to the airport. Walking distance to the main town area, ferry and laundry. A bit noisy in the street at night, but not excessive and probably normal for an "in town" location!

We spent three nights at Pension Sofi as part of an island-hopping trip and it was pretty much our favourite of all the places we stayed, mostly because of how incredibly hospitable the people who run it are. Full of information about Naxos, they plied us with homemade cakes, fresh fruit and salad from their garden and samples of wine from their vineyards at every opportunity. The room itself was lovely - simple, clean and homely - and is in a great location very close to the sea-front whilst also being set back from all the hustle and bustle of town. We got a good deal booking it and felt we had received incredibly value for money - staying there was such a pleasant experience. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Pension Sofi has fantastic reviews and deserves them all. They picked us up at the port even though it's a 5 minute walk! They were friendly, gave us a map of what to visit and even called the rent-a-car place for us. You will fall in love with this family! Only negative is they do not serve breakfast and a good breakfast is hard to find in Naxos (in the low season).

Nice to have pickup and drop-off from ferry; Just a 5 minute walk to the main town harbor. Each afternoon they had homemade wine and snacks (tomatoes, cheese, olives etc). Friendly and helpful.
