Check in and check out we’re a breeze. The staff were friendly and the accommodations were comfortable and quiet. The hotel is close to all and has ample parking. The hotel added to our great time in Keene.

It was good, the staff was friendly and helpful while staying there. After we left I realized that I might have left my prescription glasses in the room. I called twice a few hours apart and staff said they would check and call me back. I never got a call back. So apparently once you are gone the helpfulness is gone as well. We were surprised that there were no USB ports in the hotel for cell phones. I guess we just made the assumption that most hotels have this updated feature to their rooms.

Check in was horrendous didn’t get to our room until 5 pm even thought checkin was 4 and we were there at 3:45 were told checkin is at 4 so we waited in the lobby with about 30 other people that came in after 4. Got a room at 5.
Charged me $225 for a small pet 18 pound non shedding dog. When I ask what the extra 45 was used for the cleaning people indicated that if the animal had damaged anything of left a mess it was extra work for them. Otherwise nothing special. Perhaps a better way to do this would be to take a pet deposit and if there is no damage or mess refund it. That would be more PET FRIENDLY!

Late check in, lady at front desk made them falling behind over 4 hours my problem and was very short and rude with me. Room was barely cleaned, hair in shower drain, trash still in cans.

Scott the bartender on Sunday night made our experience warm & inviting and we had such a good time with the other patrons at the bar. Made this get away a 10.

Guests for a wedding and they wouldn't accommodate an early check in by 1-2 hoyrs so we coukd get ready. We had to change in the lobby bathroom!

Overall, we had a fantastic stay. We were there for a funeral and we really enjoyed being able to gather in the lobby. On Friday night, following the funeral, the woman running the bar was extremely rude to us when we came inside with drinks in cans that we had had at another venue. We were not drinking them. We would happily have put them away. The issue was her tone - she sharply attacked my father-in-law (age 90) and his guests following a very difficult day. We were all adults and would have immediately heeded anything that she wanted but she was aggressive and rude - making our evening suddenly very sour following a celebration of life that was very important.

We have stayed in this hotel many times in our trips back to New England. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. This is the first time we were awakened in the middle of the night by a barking dog. In the morning while eating in the hotel restaurant. my wife was startled by a large black lab who jumped toward her. The owner told her that the dog just got away from him and she should just get over it. He then allowed his dog to jump on the food service counter while he ordered his coffee.

I rarely leave a poor review, but the room was not very clean (dusty, slow-draining tub and toilet), the staff were not super friendly (probably just understaffed?) and the pool (which was the reason we chose this hotel) was very small and shallow. The area is lovely, parking was ample and convenient and there is a great co-op just off the property.

Loved the king suite, nicest pullout couch I've seen at a hotel. Lots of space. Extra clean hotel and rooms. More plush hallway carpet tha typical at a hotel. Very friendly staff. At Check-in staff took extra steps to give us local recommendations, checked online to see which local ones were closed on a Monday before giving us a map of them within walking distance. Overall great experience.

Had reserved room for two adults and two children. We arrived later than expected to the sofa bed not made up for the children. The housekeeping arrived quickly with bedding but expected us to set up the bed. The room was basic and shower cleanliness questionable.
The staff were all lovely and happy to help. The little cafe had a nice selection of cereals, yogurt, fruit and coffee for the morning. The pool was open early (6am) which was perfect for our two jet lagged kids and the reason we chose the hotel for our one night stay in Keene.

I liked that it was in walking distance of mostly everything in Keene, NH. I didn't like that the gym only had treadmills and the pool was so small that it was overcrowded with 5 people. All around, just an average hotel that cost more than its worth. We'll stay somewhere else on our next trip to Keene. Had issues with the TV and maintenance couldn't fix the problem.

Beds were comfortable, shower was nice and hot with good water pressure. Very short walk to downtown for dining, shopping and activities. Free onsite parking.
The shower could use a little bleach, the floor was a little brown. No free coffee in the lobby, coffee almost $5 a cup from the Starbucks kiosk in the lobby.

Nice hotel, clean. High price. There’s no free coffee or breakfast but they sell Starbucks coffee. The room lacked usb ports and the tub didn’t drain well but the beds were comfortable. Short walk to Main Street and easy parking.

We were pleasantly surprised. We normally stay at best western but it was sold out. I’m glad because this is our new Keene hotel. Last couple times at best western was not very good. A lot of people smoking pot and the whole hotel was disgusting. Front desk people here very personable. Enjoyed our stay.

Rooms are clean and nicely appointed. Property is close to downtown. Dining facilities are limited. Initial contact with desk staff very disappointing. Clearly a three star property that charges five star prices.

4 p.m. seems like a very late check-in time.
We phoned early in the morning to request an earlier time. We had a wedding that required us to take a shuttle bus at 3:20. We had to change clothes in the washroom.

The bistro staff were extremely busy & had a hard time keeping up with the influx of customers over a very busy graduation weekend for Keene State College. A bit disorganized & one of the ladies manning the bistro desk was a bit argumentative with customers which was not necessary

Showhead was too close to the wall making it awkward to shower. The bed I had was worn out, it was very uncomfortable. No free coffee in lobby or breakfast? Next time I will stay at a Holiday Inn Express.
