Hotel Monte Hermana is near Sendai Station, easily reachable by elevated walkway directly to Reception. Check-in was smooth and fast.
The offer of a welcome drink was very generous. The choice was Lemon Sour, beer, Gin Lime or soft drinks. not just a bottle of water.
Security was good, the door to each floor only opening after swiping the key card.
The room was larger than usual, as was the TV. The free bottle of water in the room was very welcome.
The room was quiet despite being near a busy main street.
I did not try the breakfast, but I enjoyed beginning my day with s nice hot public bath snd sauna on the 9th floor.
Excellent value for money in a city where hotel prices have skyrocketed recently!

Really such a lovely place! I get seen at the nearby infertility clinic and I had no idea this was so close! Breakfast is fantastic! Onsen is on site. Staff was very sweet! Very easy to get to from train station. I'll be back again soon.

The room was clean and well-maintained. Stayed 2 nights solo and room was decently-sized for one person. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Hotel itself is a 5-minute walk from Sendai station and a lot of good dining options nearby. There's also a nearby shopping arcade for your shopping needs. Would definitely recommend and stay here again

Bed clothes were unclean, and the bed was very uncomfortable. The smoking room was grimy and the breakfast was below average. We left the hotel a day early and booked elsewhere.

Great location. Excellent service. Front desk staff most professional and helpful. Initially difficult to find the entrance to the hotel. LOOK UP! Their hotel sign is high up on the building! So close to Sendai Train station. Lots of eateries at the station. There is a Starbucks in the same building of the hotel. I would recommend this place to stay.

It's an average hotel, nothing special. Close to the train station. Breakfast is average. The rings are very clean. Unfortunately the AC is not working (the same was true for a colleague in a different room) and the room is really hot. So you have to open the window to be able to sleep. This gets really loud starting 4:30 am with trains and traffic.

You couldn't get any more convenient if you tried location wise. This modern, super clean, efficiently run hotel deserves five stars which of course I gave it. Yes, the room is small but hey it's Japan, that's what you get. It is has everything you need, I was lacking nothing. Great wifi which is a bonus. Staff are super nice , ready to help when you need it. I will be returning to Sendai and without a doubt I will stay here again.

Hotel very close to both train station and shopping area. Room is of reasonable size and window view can see faraway, the only issue is the fridge, noisy but cant keep a low temp for food kept inside it.

Great hotel very close to Sendai station. Very clean and nice looking place, lots of amenities available, great security. Staff are friendly and welcoming as well as professional, and they offer luggage storage prior to check in of you arrive too early like I did.
Vending machines and laundry are present, convenience store is 1 minute away on foot if you need anything else.
Entrance was a little hard to find the first time, front desk is on the second floor accessible via the elevated walkways from Sendai station. Go around the Parco, through the AER, and it's in the TKP building. The first floor entrance (elevator only) is down a small side street off the main road, not many footpaths.
