The owners were welcoming. The property was very well kept, decorated nicely and plenty of useful information. The outdoors had a few different sitting areas as well as a pool. Nice loungers on the porch. On a quiet road about 7 minutes from downtown N Conway. Our room (#9) was spacious for a B&B. Private bathroom, queen size bed and what we believe was a Murphy bed (didn’t use it). Small tv with streaming apps. AC, 3 windows. Ceiling fan (we either couldn’t figure out how to turn it in or it doesn’t work. We didn’t need it so we didn’t ask). There’s a refrigerator with freezer down stairs your welcome to use to store any beverages. Glassware is provided. Lovely home cooked breakfasts. Would definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay at The Buttonwood Inn over President's Day weeknd! We went XC skiing in Jackson and this was perfect place to stay. The breakfast each morning was just perfect to fuel us for our skiing. Donna and Doug were amazing. I felt like I was staying at my home.

My wife and I have been coming to the Buttonwood for over 25 years, it has become a bit of a tradition for us. The new owners are doing a great job, Donna and Doug made us feel welcome and the breakfasts were delicious. The inn is away from the bustle of North Conway but close enough to access the town and all it has to offer. A great place to stay at any time of year.

The innkeepers, Doug and Donna-Marie, were awesome. It was our first experience at a B&B and their hospitality and generosity made it memorable. We will definitely be back :)

The Inn was clean and in good shape. We were disappointed in the size of our room and the "mountain view". One of the two chairs in the room was very well worn and not comfortable at all.

Bill and Paula were both wonderful, and the breakfasts and afternoon treats were AMAZING. Popular hiking trails were less than a mile away. I was surprised at how crowded downtown North Conway was even during covid. We happily picked up takeout and came back to the inn to enjoy our secluded stay. Highly recommend. We hope to be back.

The inn and its owners are delightful. The location of this place is absolutely perfect. Close to North Conway, Bartlett, Mt. Washington - but off the main traffic and away from the crowds. Beautiful trails start directly from the property too.

We loved the Buttonwood Inn. Such a lovely beautiful place. And oh my word the food was awesome! From amazing breakfast to the extra special dessert left out everyday. Highly recommend and we would love to go back.

Room was nice and very quiet. Great breakfast and gracious hosts. Only minus was hot tub had WAY too much chlorine.

Excellent stay with Paula and Bill. The Buttonwood Inn is located in beautiful surroundings and Paula and Bill serves the best tasting American breakfast I have ever had. We would recommend everyone to stay with Paula and Bill,

Beautiful quiet location with great hosts serving an incredible property.

Bill welcomed us right away and gave a quick tour of the property. It was a great stay, the breakfast was delicious, kudos to Paula who does all the cooking and even made some vegan treats for my wife. Overall great place!

The food was absolutely incredible and the innkeepers were so welcoming and kind. The inn was cozy.

We had a great time, the inn keepers were friendly and the location was perfect. I loved the trails out the back yard for a walk/hike. Our room was above the kitchen/dining area and I'm a very lite sleeper so I could hear the kitchen door swinging when Bill and Paula were busy in the morning getting breakfast ready and the clock below us every hour it chimed.

We loved the dining area with small curios lining the window sills. Tea time in the evening was a very enjoyable experience. Paula bakes some amazing cookies that you must try. The breakfasts were great- every day brought something special and it was consistently amazing. Bill gave us some great tips for places to explore locally- Diana’s Baths, Cathedral Ledge and they were amazing with the fall colors. We loved the game room in the basement. There are some nice articles outlining the history of the inn. They had some newspapers from the 1880s framed. Apparently it was used as insulation in a room and came out during a renovation more than 100 years later!
