They say free parking on site but the parking is down really narrow side streets, we scratched our rental car trying to find it. Found a bed bug in the morning but otherwise the bathroom and room was clean.

Again at this sweet little hotel, I always stay here whenever in Izmir. Competent, friendly staff, laid back and friendly. Decent breakfast, hotel bicycle and library. One side of the hotel is renovated, and well. These rooms have a/c. A few minutes walk to metro and main streets. The alleys of the old city are narrow, so there is noise from locals and traffic, and the rooms are pretty small, as the building is quite old. but the comfort, the vibe and the care the staff take of you outweighs any reason to avoid this hotel. It is popular, and deserves to be.

Excellent value for money. Lobby is pleasant, breakfast is good, the free tea any time of day is a very nice touch indeed. The economy rooms are dated, but 100% as advertised. The comfort rooms are modern and would be worth the extra money for many travellers. Close to the train and bus stations.

I will start with the problems and end with the good things first of all you get what you pay for and being 61 and the stairs to the 4th floor were tiring, however it is not the hotels fault they have no elevator. To compensate for that, the staff were so professional, so kind and could not do enough. Breakfast was great and I looked forward to it every day. I am a pescatarian vegetarian so they didn’t mind me feeding the millions of cats In Izmir with the meat I didn’t eat. They even wash your clothes if you ask for not a lot of money. It was in an extremely good location and they have a helpful local map. The staff always go the extra mile in asking how you were and they gave me a parting gift. I would not hesitate to stay again. It would be useful to stay on a nearer floor to reception in future. One of the staff has a Charles spaniel dog who is good for hotel service and they treat you like family. The room was functional and apart from A small problem with the shower door( which I felt sorry for the maid to have to clear up the water spillage) the air conditioning unit was very good . Lots of space for clothes and even a roomy double bed which is more than what I asked for. Few issues with the WiFi that dropped out late evening but I was tired after a days adventures. There is station nearby and when you buy an Izmir card it covers most of travel apart from dolmus( mini buses) but they are cheap anyway. Lots of traffic so be careful , well recommended

Book this small hotel with no qualms ... get a room with aircon, they are newer, bigger and more comfortable. Staff are just great, no problems there of any sort. Enough English spoken, decent breakfast included, affordable, ambient, close to station and metro. In a small network of alleys, only 100 metres to main city streets, yet quiet enough, the smooth option in the slightly rough Old Town... look for decorative bicycles and a huge wonderful climbing vine right up the front corner. Hard to find, hard to forget !

Small room, one pair of slippers was used by someone before us, there was a hair on one of the shower gels. They claim to have a parking, but in reality it's just a small spot in front of the entrance, not safe to leave your car there at all, too narrow street. The only reason I give 2 stars is that the receptionist was really willing to help and found a parking near another hotel close to the area almost immediately. He also offered to upgrade our room for one night as a consolation for us. We were supposed to stay for two nights, but left next morning.

Excellent hotel for families or solo ... close for all the izmir transforms ... comfortable with excellent service and all of this in amazing PRICE !!! I recommended it and i will come over again

Especially the German speaking receptionist made up for the very run down and dirty bathroom. We didn't even take showers in the morning as we were too disgusted by the dirty bathroom

Good breakfast, however if you wake up early some food is already finished. Good price, location close to train station and metro stations. Extremely small room, stairs is very small for luggage.

Really nice hotel with friendly staff and traditional Turkish breakfast. Unfortunately located in one of the worst areas in izmir.

I really like here, staff enthusiastic help, especially the landlord Mr., and good polite, here from the points of interest very close to walk away, conveniently! Next to a supermarket can buy things, Definitely recommend to live here!
